They are all easy, just some require you to do a lot more work than others to get where you want to go.

I think it's important that this place provides accurate information based on facts, yes. It becomes a problem when people try to provide accurate information based on opinions and then try to justify the said opinions as facts. Not going to point at anyone.BONES wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 1:59 pmYou don't think it's important that this place provides accurate information and useful advice?musicproducerdee wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 7:27 amwhy does everyone in every thread want to prove that they know better and are above all else?
Some prefer a synth with simpler controls and quick to work with, while making music, which the BA-1 is, some prefer hyper versatile synths with various sound design options. I don't think either group should try and prove to the other that why x is better than y or vice versa. If you (not pointing at you, but a more general sentence) like a synth, invest in it, if you don't like it, then don't. What's with the weird obsession of trying to prove to the other group that they know better, and you should agree or listen to them.
If there are people who like extreme synthesis, don't like this one, why are they trying to make the BA-1 what it's not meant to be? It was never meant to be a UVI Falcon or a Phase Plant. If they don't like it, they don't have to buy it, don't you think? What's with the weird obsession of trying to convince people who like it, that it would be better if it had x or y. Just leave it alone?!?!
If every other synth had every other feature, what would be the point?
I'm sorry if anyone thinks I'm targeting my post towards them, I'm really not, it's just a general observation I'm having. I don't mean to offend anyone. Have fun making music or playing with audio, whatever your thing is

Ugh, you dragged me back in, but thanks for the irreversible example of poor logic.Jesus christ, you're making shit up now. At no point did I put down any other idea for other added features, that is what everyone else is doing ffs.\
So yeah.... I'm making shit up... you literally quoted your own quote in your response, then flatly denied what you quoted. Take the L and move on, it's just the internet, you get nothing for winning some online debate, you can't come back from this, all you're going to do is fill this thread with more men arguing over dumb stuff, and ego driven nonsense.

I have and love falcon, it's also overkill for these types of sounds. It's like no one can stand nuance anymore, big workstations have their place, and so do simple one page interface synths like this.musicproducerdee wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 7:47 pm If there are people who like extreme synthesis, don't like this one, why are they trying to make the BA-1 what it's not meant to be? I didn't say any additional feature ideas are bad in that quote. I said that more complex synths with more features can make more unique sounds. Whether people want that or not is completely personal.machinesworking wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 11:22 pmj wazza wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 7:35 am I started off saying I want more features, then I've been responding to other people's arguments that don't make sense, such as more features making a synth less unique, which is not my argument, I'm saying the opposite.Ugh, you dragged me back in, but thanks for the irreversible example of poor logic.Jesus christ, you're making shit up now. Noone else has even suggested other features, so what new features do you think I'm against? You have only misconstrued what I've said and trolled in this conversation.

People can have their own opinions for what features they'd like in a synth, and people are allowed to disagree. I don't understand trying to convince people that their feature ideas are wrong. If some people like complex synths, simple synths, or like me, they like both but prefer one, that's completely personal and can't be right or wrong. I don't care what anyone else uses, but everyone can share their opinions and reasoning on music forums.
When that goes off on a tangent into theoretical debates like whether complex or simple synths can sound more unique, having an opinion on that is not telling people what to use. An argument can be right or wrong, but people's preferences for synths is separate, and can't be wrong. I think when Bones or steffensen said i was wrong, these were parts of those theoretical debates, they weren't telling me what to use. They were reasonable even though we disagreed on some things.
I like both simple and complex synths. I think its a trade-off between getting something fast, and getting a wider range of possible sounds, so I use both. I think of that trade-off as a fact, but which trade-off works best for you is personal. I just don't like being limited to only simple synths, I like a mixture. Other people can use what they want.
I've said all of this enough times already though, if people still think I'm saying something I'm not saying, or think I'm saying the opposite, that's on them, or if they disagree, that's fine as everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Anyone else have Windows Defender flag the demo as "Trojan:Win32/Spursint.F!cl" ?

I am trying the demo now (nice little synth and sounds good, awesome presets) and noticed that when exporting the song from FL Studio the BA-1 tracks don't have any audio, that is, there is no sound of BA-1 tracks in the exported music.BABY Audio wrote: Mon Apr 24, 2023 10:25 pmThe emails with the trial links were a little slow to be sent out but it should be running normally now. Just double checked. Let us know if the problem persists for you and we can send the trial manually.
Using FL Studio 21.0.3.
Could you please check if it's a bug on your side, which seems to be the case to me?
I will be unable to buy this synth if this bug is not fixed.

A deliberate limitation in the demo perhaps?LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 5:04 pmI am trying the demo now (nice little synth and sounds good, awesome presets) and noticed that when exporting the song from FL Studio the BA-1 tracks don't have any audio, that is, there is no sound of BA-1 tracks in the exported music.BABY Audio wrote: Mon Apr 24, 2023 10:25 pmThe emails with the trial links were a little slow to be sent out but it should be running normally now. Ah, makes sense, didn't think about it. Could someone here using FL Studio and has bought BA-1 confirm if this isn't a bug?DrGonzo wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 5:23 pmA deliberate limitation in the demo perhaps?LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 5:04 pmI am trying the demo now (nice little synth and sounds good, awesome presets) and noticed that when exporting the song from FL Studio the BA-1 tracks don't have any audio, that is, there is no sound of BA-1 tracks in the exported music.BABY Audio wrote: Mon Apr 24, 2023 10:25 pmThe emails with the trial links were a little slow to be sent out but it should be running normally now. A personal feedback on the GUI: It would be better and more intuitive if the "amount" sliders for Delay and Reverb were to the right of "length" sliders, which means for the Delay the order would be "sync - length - amount" and for the Reverb it would be "length - amount". The current arrangement feels a bit unconventional to me.

Look, I don't care that much, that's why I'm taking forever to respond to your claims. How am I trolling by quoting you? YOU, said , " I've been responding to other people's arguments that don't make sense," you can't have it both ways, you can't argue that someone is misrepresenting your opinion and everyone is entitled to an opinion, then continue to argue that anyone who disagrees with you is wrong. I mean you can, it's just awkward.j wazza wrote: Fri Apr 28, 2023 2:11 amI didn't say any additional feature ideas are bad in that quote. I'm trying to stop arguing with people who don't want to come to conclusions, that want to be "right", so you do you, get the last word in, it's just an internet discussion about a synth, and somehow your ego got hurt, that's all.
