OMNITEC-436C - VARI-MU COMPRESSOR PLUGIN (AAX/VST/AU)

Our latest vintage vari-mu compressor plug-in draws inspiration from the legendary Altec 436C tube compressor, renowned for its dynamic range and vintage warmth. Originally introduced in the 1950s, the 436C was quickly embraced by top producers for its versatile parametrization and its highly musical output. This iconic compressor's innovative circuit and distinctive sound went on to inspire other famous compressors, including the Fairchild and Manley vari-mu units.

Let the OmniTec-436C breathe new life into your productions with its velvety, warm vintage sound.

Introductory offer: only $29 instead of $59 for a limited time!

I don't need another compressor, but after testing it on some vocals, I probably will. I have to try it in other places, but so far I like it more than Kush AR-1.

Why the RIP Kush? They're still very active and Apple Silicon stuff has started hitting public beta. I love their stuff!

So glad I took a chance on them! Love their Mu compressor, assume this will be similar quality.

I really liked this on electric guitars today. Look forward to trying other sources. Definitely on the list.

@BlackRooster:

You said in one of the last releases that you're working on vst3 and a new licensing system.

Can you elaborate what a new new licensing system means? The current one is awesome. I'm afraid to buy anything new before knowing if there is some kind of online or challenge response system in the pipeline.

Hi, I understand your wish for an additional discount. Please understand that we really can't go below $29 as this really is barely covering our costs. We don't do plug-in development for a hobby but need to make a living of it - on top of that we are not a boutique, nor a plug-in factory of 30 releases per year, but a manufacturer of top-notch analog emulations. From our perspective: We decided a decent intro pricing for both our valued existing customers and our new customers - and we find $29 to be fair in that regard, considering the hours of work and fine-tuning put into this release. And our ALL BUNDLE has recently been going out for $99 - so I would say, this basically has been a steal, no? I would very much hope for a reconsideration of our position in the market, because we ourselves don't want to compete with brands like Waves, Plugin Alliance & Co. anymore, with prices as low as $3! per plug-in.

And this is not to criticise your wish, but something that I would wanted to point out in general.

Hey no worries. With updating our framework and licensing system, we will add additional functionality to a working system. So there will not be any dramatical changes, basically just the appearance.
