Just kick out the ones you don´t own of the plugin database and don´t install the Plugin database again on new installs (it will create entries for new plugins anyway)...
It´s up to you to modify it to your needs... they will always continue to include it with the default install as they want you to upgrade your edition/buy the ones you don´t own.

Are the included plugs requiring upgrades good? Less cpu etc?

Post

You don't get to do that do you? There Fruity plugins. I will try that. Luxeverb is very good, the new guitar effects thing looks good and Ogun looks like a full fledged synth.

Which one is that?

Post

Hardcore.

That's the FL business model. Buy what you you need. Not what you don't.

You get lifetime free updates so why not buy the all plugins edition, then you will get everything free.

Does it have Ableton Link?
Intel Core2 Quad CPU + 4 GIG RAM

Hardcore is old, and a good contender for IL's worst plugin.

This is absolutely true... that was never a master piece...

But the newer "Distructor" is quite nice with tons of different distortions and cabinets (here called "Speaker")

Post

Okay. That's the one. Distructor. I was just looking at the list and Hardcore came up. Distructor can be great on synths also.

Hey, has anyone else noticed that they have changed playback behaviour in latest release?

Before this recent update, it was always possible to change playback start position while the song is playing.
But now... I literally have to push space, click the timeline, and push space again. :x

Completely ridiculous. I could understand if it was an app for six year olds, or something... but really?

Made a post in tech support and some guy called Hevy is trying to tell me that it has always worked like that.
So I've just posted a vid of FL20 working as intended.
Curious to see his reply to that one. Maybe English is not his first language :x

Honestly, I'm starting to think these guys don't even care anymore. Just trying to lure in as many new customers as they can

Bro, it works fine. Download the latest beta. Make sure you didnt mess with your settings. My latest beta version works perfectly fine with the playback start position if I click anywhere along the timeline

Can you post his exact advice? Because relocating while playing works here and had always worked like that. Nothing has changed.

Post

Seems to be different if you have 'quantize song jumps' enabled here, but can't remember how it worked before with it enabled. :dog:

That is the purpose of the option. To wait until the setting snap unit before jumping or relocating. Off to Beats or Bars e.t.c.
