I was reluctant switching from Live to Bitwig. Moss has done something regarding usability of the Push 2 controller. I'm all in.
Just make sure you have the latest version from the website itself. The one bundled with the Bitwig beta is months old
My plan was to sell Live 12 plus the Push 2 controller as a bundle.... scratch that

As a famous philosopher Heraclitus would say - We embrace the true meaning through change.
As artists, people should experiment with different tools, different mindsets, different ways.
Only then a true meaning can be revealed. So, it's not "God forgive me", you're doing it right

Tell that to the idiots here who think there should be no new DAW developments.gainstage wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 11:38 am As artists, people should experiment with different tools, different mindsets, different ways.
You can "do it right" using the same tools. An example are the Roland 808, 909 drum machines. How many switched over to something new and different to break away from the same ol same ol shit just to have another ten artists writing new tunes using said drum machines (and getting recognition for it)?So, it's not "God forgive me", you're doing it right![]()
You have to be self motivated to make it happen. Then it doesn't matter if it's a new tool or the same rusty one.

What am I missing? I can double click the time line, then the space bar stops, then restarts from the place I double clicked.xbitz wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2024 6:39 pm A miracle happened, a feature request has been fulfilled.

Is this just the same but from a selected time area?

^^^ with zero-width time-range it's like clicking on the header; just don't have to click anywhere. It will play from where the cursor is positioned. This was especially interesting under the clip launcher in the piano roll where it's PITA

The MPC is going into beta for version 3 of their software and it's far more like a DAW now in it's basic presentation. I'm not changing to it, but I will probably end up using it a lot more for anything electronic based music wise.
