well decide for yourself... it's really all about how you like the sound....vitriolb wrote:to Midiworks:
What about PSP audioware easyverb.
I think wery simple and good sounding verb.
I like it too but that doesn't help you at all. It's not my favourite but the price is superb for what you get.... I think it is a winner in the price/feature/sound category.
I know it's tough to decide on a plug and it's great to get some pointers what to check out (cuz there isn't enough time to try 'em all is there) but if you already like a plug then why do you need to hear what others think about it.
well yeah I know... if Adam Duritz was into HomeRecording and would be using plug-ins I would be "so what ws it you're using again?" "so - erm tell me... how do you set up this compressor?" "come on just tell me all your settings" "ah come on I ment gimme your presets" but that's because he could write a shopping list and I would think it's a poem...

If a tree falls alone in the woods, does it make an echo?Hink wrote:huh...cliffs=delay caves=complex rooms...water=amplify (at least at night) woods=reverb? I would love to have the ears that could hear that (maybe I wouldn't). I grew up in the woods...you would think that besides allowing more noise through there would be a difference between summer and winter...not the case though...leaves do reflect the sound some...but they also absorb it quite a bit...as does the ground...but I really have never heard echo in the woods
Here is my small version:

All right guys, I just created a Poll topic on "best reverb" -- lets use it and ditch this "one person opinion's" old thread.
Please go and vote for your choice a here:

You've got to be kidding, right?Midiworks wrote: Masterverb5 ? No.
Highly tweakable, algorithmic reverb. Have you tried the plates on drums? Can't say no to that, dude.

In my opinion, LiquidSonics and Valhalla are leaders in the reverb sector today, but they didn't even exist when this thread was started! I'd add Relab to the list too. Lexicon was a couple of years from releasing their native plugins (before seemingly abandoning them 10 years later). It's amazing how much better reverbs have gotten in the last 15 or so years, even though there were some decent ones back then too.
