Now you can enjoy all the Keyboard Oberheims in one Keyboard instead of having to fill up your space with different ones

It really is! And, it has size 42 font on the controls so I can read the front panel without my glasses!
Yeah, that will certainly save me a few bucks!D-Fusion wrote: Fri Sep 06, 2024 3:26 pm Congrats

Some calling/emailing around and I can confirm units are accounted for.justin3am wrote: Thu Sep 05, 2024 5:17 pm Yeah, I hear you. I'm gonna try for another QMMG but since it's such a limited run, I'm not gonna try very hard. I'm not greedy.
I will tell you that some dealers have already sold through their allotment (though they weren't supposed to). I talked to the folks at Perfect Circuit and know that they won't make them available until they have the go ahead but other dealers I spoke with (whom I will not name) said that they took secret pre-orders. I think Perfect Circuit will be getting 11 of them but I'm not sure if they are holding any for in-store purchase.
I really wish Tony would do a run of QMMGs without the vactrols installed. I have a bunch of vintage and modern VTL5C3/2s and you can still get new ones from Xvive and CoolAudio if you buy in bulk. However, while that would take some pressure off from the supply side, I'm sure it would cause a significant increase in support requests.
That definitely sucks, but I think there’s a couple to try on Monday including PC.
And, if I don’t get one, it’ll save me some money I guess!
In Eurorack I see how easy it is to chase after certain sounds where the subtle difference could get lost in a mix, or master.
I also keep trying to tell myself that using what I have might just be “my” sound.
Obviously, I’m posting that stuff to now to soften any disappointment on Monday.

Ordered a MEGAfm II direct from Twisted Electrons ... gonna have to be patient as they make 'em to order depending on parts availability before shipping. They sent me this message after purchasing ...
Price was £72 lower than UK sellers (no tax presumably)

I got a shipping notice on the DecadeBridge Sn.
Also about to receive a couple of stands from Capra Design, for my 0-Ctrl and Pod 60, instead of the awkward combination of small generic shelves from KVGear and wrist wrests/mini bean bags to tilt them up more.
(I still don't know where to put the Elmyra, it's awkwardly sitting on top of my Seaboard Block when I don't use it and that's not great.)

If they are building it, you might ask them to test the sliders well, my blast beats has a bad slider. Not worth it for me to send back to repair. It kinda still works. For you tho, maybe sending it back for repairs is not so much of a hassle, if needed. Other than cheapy sliders, their stuff is great! Very fond of the unit. I don't blame them since it took a little usage to fail.
I'm sure it will be fine, I'm just saying. I'm a big fan of theirs
*It's faders, yes I know
They are not the highest quality faders, but the cost of the unit is low and their choice
is not unreasonable.

TEO5 sounds great, may not do as much as OB-X8 but it is MUCH smaller. It has a nice key feel too.
Soma laboratories Terra is fun to play. Studio electronics has some huge sounding rack synths but I don't want another rack synth after my K2000RS. Got to see the SY0.5 from Michigan synth works, great gear. And Melbourne Synths makes synths that look lovely and make nice pads.

I suspect that synth is going to sell by the truckloads.

Those Capra Design stands are pretty nice in terms of finish etc. Not like cheap 3d printed plastic and not thin wobbly stuff like the stands I was using. You do need a small hex key to remove screws to adjust the height and to mount the crossbar, but not a big deal since it's something that I won't likely want to change very often if ever.
The only real downside is, to be 100% perfect I'd want the 0-Ctrl to be lifted to the same height as the Pod. But the stand was theoretically for a Pod 48X rather than a 60 anyway
