A delay in motion — that’s a beautiful thing. DC19 is a playable delay, an experimental plugin built with hardware controllers and analog vibe in mind. Where a standard delay gives you a button, DC19 gives you a slider.
From springy surf echoes and tape’d out slapbacks to weirdo magnetic tape loops and sci-fi sound design, DC19 may have started out life as a weird little delay concept, but these days is a one-stop shop for everything worth repeating.

  • Single (A) or Dual Delay (A+B) or anything in between (via the Sync/Free control)
    Quantizable/selectable note sync
Together with the tempo multiplier, that means you can slide effortlessly from a 128th note to a whole note when synced to a BPM, and when unsynced
In milliseconds mode, you can slide all the way from 3 milliseconds to 8 seconds
Ping Pong Delay (A only) + Dual Ping Pong (A+B crossfeeding the feedback)
Controllable Glide time for all delays
Convenient macros for instant control of feedback and reverb
Tape section featuring unique LOFI + Wobble controls
LOFI moves through several different tape machines seamlessly
Wobble invites a little chaos into your life, either in mono or stereo
Filter section for shaping delay tone
Brand new Spring Reverb section that can be applied to just the delay or the dry signal + the delay
Sophisticated spatial panning section for precise control of where each delay line lands in space
    Zero latency
    HQ Mode

This looks really cool! I don't often get excited about plug-ins but I really like Goodhertz stuff the control scheme for this is a lot of fun. Bought!

Their plugns are good but imho some of them are really overpriced
This one sounds really nice but the Spring sounds a bit too spongy and exaggerated , too bad we can't adjust any of that .

If only valhalla delay had the fantastic klaghelm springreverb in it's feedback path
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

That's the only endorsement I need. Strangely enough, this thing has several features I've asked for for 15 years. Glad I saw your name here as the name DC19 didn't catch my eye. Purchased :)

You gotta plan out using your discount codes, I have saved getting the onetime 50% off code
to complete the set. They've added some plugins, like this one, so I have waited, tho theres
only a few I don't have.

Sadly, I missed the intro price on this one for some reason. It's a cool delay tho.

If they kept it at $39 I'd buy it. $79 is. Bit silly in my opinion even though I'm sure considerable work went into it, it's just a lot.

Goodhertz didnt join the deep discount club. It's appropriate because their products are unique and top tier. Like always, wait for a sale! BF is around the corner.

I spent a good amount of time with DC19 last night. I did some basic comparisons between DC19 and my EchoFix EF-X2 tape echo and while I'm very happy with the tone/character, that wasn't my primary focus. There is such care taken with the way the delay lines are controlled and automated... this effect feels more like an instrument in some ways. It really came to life when I was using it with my Panorama CS12 control surface. It's very easy to do complex delay time and feedback manipulations, with just a few buttons and knobs.

I love that you can exclude certain delay time divisions from the list of values, as I frequently use a random modulation source on delay time and this feature makes it so that the delay time always lands on a division that makes sense with the rhythm of the sound I'm messing with. It's also easy to double/halve the both delays without messing with their relationship. I love that there is a variable quantization about for the individual delay lines, instead of a simple sync/unsync button. Great freaking idea!

It is rather simple compared to more feature-rich delays but as a performance effect, I see that as a strength.
