I’m holding out hope for an updated Ohmicide at least. It must have been some serious work to get such an old plugin to work in a Eurorack module. Seems like a waste to do that without doing it in such a way that the plugin could also be modernized.

they won't update it. they might make a new plug in using bits of that code though.. but it'll be a new thing if it happens.. just like how they did w/the delay "ohmboyz Infinity" which was a new version of ohmboyz delay.Greenstorm33 wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2024 2:15 am I’m holding out hope for an updated Ohmicide at least. Ohmboyz Infinity is now* updated to Apple Silicon support, with VST3 support (IDK if they had VST3 before this).
Hopefully Ohmicide is next.

Well, they said they were going to update Infinity, and they did. Ohmicide was pretty popular, so it would stand to reason they they'd update that at some point too. When though, is anyone's guess.

Yeah I would love to have Ohmicide updated and also Symptohm:Melohman the synthesizer. Both plugins are such unique beasts and have no real replacement.

It was just stated by Red_Force in the OhmBoyz Infinity thread, that Ohmicide will get an Apple Silicon update.

Infinity is amazing and some of the presets resurrect the Ohm vibe from 20 years ago. I just love their style.

just installed the 1.1 update. it fails AU validation in Logic. instantly crashes live when dragging it onto a track or trying to instantiate it with any method.

According to the current present list on their website, Infinity and Frohmager are the only 2 current plugins, and the rest are legacy (free & unsupported at the moment).

hey dayjob, see my reply on the other thread. Also, if you've ever installed the first build one of them had an issue that needed complete manual uninstall that could maybe explain your issue. Anyway, as I say in the other thread, we really want to solve this.dayjob wrote: Thu Sep 12, 2024 11:04 pm just installed the 1.1 update. it fails AU validation in Logic. instantly crashes live when dragging it onto a track or trying to instantiate it with any method.
