Most polarizing might be Falcon. Whether it's best or worst depends on your tolerance/masochism for menus.
I posted this in another thread recently but I really like the MONA skin from Plugmon.jp for Diva:

GForce almost ruined the previously elegantly simple GUI for SEM in their v1.6 update, with the addition of a pointless skeuomorphic frame around the user interface. Which was rather unnecessary, imho.
However, after a little "persuasion" by their customers, GForce finally relented and gave us a "Zoomed" (aka. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it") view back again, in their subsequent v1.61 update.
It might not matter to some people, while others might actually prefer that additional skeuomorphic aesthetic. However, I much prefer the focus just on the controls without the excess graphical borders. I find it rather less of a distraction that way.

GForce and Diva Mona are beautiful.
Worst imo is Plugin Guru Unify. Absolutely love the plugin, hate the fact they won’t spend the money on a good UI designer, when there’s so many great guys doing UIs

Are we allowed to know what it is, because whoever designed it neglected to put the name of the instrument anywhere. The right side is also cut off, is that the GUI or your screen-grabbing? It does look OK, though, if a bit bright for my eyes.
I would have agreed with you, right up until the time I saw both GUIs, one above the other, in your post. Now I'm kind of leaning towards the more skeumporphic GUIMrJubbly wrote: Sun Oct 06, 2024 10:05 pmGForce almost ruined the previously elegantly simple GUI for SEM in their v1.6 update, with the addition of a pointless skeuomorphic frame around the user interface. I think maybe you need to up your dose of Ritalin if a little bit of extra, largely blank, detail is enough to distract you. It' snot like they put a chorus line of dancing girls in there. It might not matter to some people, while others might actually prefer that additional skeuomorphic aesthetic. There is a time and a place for light mode. And that time and place, is usually early morning until around mid-day within a brightly-lit space. Wherin, the light mode GUI skins can actually be pleasant, without appearing glaring.
However, within darker-lit studio environments or at night time, the brightness of an almost completely white/light GUI often elicits unwanted eye strain.
Much better to have a variety of skinning/theming options available. Unless the plugin's default skin is already using more neutral mid-tones, which can be easier on the eye within most lighting situations.

Fully agree! I don't get Arturia synths because of that.MrJubbly wrote: Sun Oct 06, 2024 10:05 pm

My favorite synth, but the default skin is like Michael Jackson - BAD:
