I also have:
Replika XT - good one, but not exactly the sound I'm after, excellent ergo, need to test it again...
Daw delays in Logic - awful sound
Comeback kid - doesn't sound good, and preset manager is non-existing - basically an os window.
Waves - no way I'm installing this, even that I have the bundle. Though, H-delay is nice.
Eye on:
Echoboy - have to test.
Also tested and didn't like:
Valhalla delay
BX 2500
Finally someone doens't like Valhalla delay. Please be my friend![]()
Felt the same. Never liked the sound of Valhalla.
With a lot of things, I wonder why they are so hyped here. Probably rather because of the price, and the attitude, than for the actual sonic quality.
To me it doesn't sound as a tape delay at all, or a BBD dealy
Delay, again, 2024.

Well while I'm here making myself look like a complete idiot I might as well comment on this delay thing.
I have several. I like the fact I have several, different tones and textures for different types of projects. There can even be some subtle differences in digital delays that are worthwhile exploiting.
Some may be clinical, that's great when there's too much stuff going on already or maybe you want something to sound more digital and clinical, like a scene in crime lab. Conversely, some tape delays are better for certain type of textures than others. Some might give you a more lofi vibe, some may be more edgy and distorted, These differences can be exploited too. Maybe lofi is more melancholy while distorted is more angry.
Then there are the delays that cover all these basis, such as Echoey or H-Delay, they're great multi-tools and are useful if you dont really know what you want. Just remember it's there Analog dial H-Delay to change its emulation type.

I would love to see a Memory Man Deluxe
Here. My latest delay are
PSP Audioware Lexicon 42
I'm really disappointed by this version, sound too narrow almost mono.
U-he Color Copy
A pretty good modern and flexible BBD delay. It's great to have a make up, multiple color for the feedback with a saturation level.
Nomad Factory Echos 3
Simple tape and BBD delay, can sound really wide like Replika XT.
Sound great, oversampling, modern or vintage feedback.
At the moment Replika XT is my good to go
But in some case, it sound way to wide, an the BBD too noisy.

I use Deelay because the Gate. Also Replika and UVI Relayer. Molekular has some pretty interesting delays as well.

Yep, Deelay is great. It recently got an update that lets you change the UI colour. Sixth Sample makes some really cool plugins that seem to fly under the radar a little bit.

It’s not almost mono. It’s 100% mono, just like the originalGam456 wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 1:21 pmI would love to see a Memory Man Deluxe

Fair enough the plugin is stereo architecture but you can’t do panning nor can you have separate L an R delay lines. So it takes stereo signal buy the effect is centred. I guess it’s intended to be used as the OG which is mono. If you need stereo effect from this baby you need to use 2 on return just like the OGGam456 wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 1:51 pmThe plugin is stereoaudiouser720 wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 1:39 pmIt’s not almost mono. If were going to have only one delay plugin it would be ValhallaDelay.
If I were going to have only two, the second would be Noise Engineering Imitor.
Other good ones that I consistently come back to sometimes:
Sinevibes Integer
Sonic Charge Echobode
Moog MF-104S
Bitwig Delay+ (mostly because it's easy to put other plugins inside its feedback loop)

That one is so good wish they released it as third party. I wonder of it’s inhouse development or external like some of their other stock pluginsHOTF wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 2:37 pm I have many delay plugins but I keep coming back to Live's Echo stock plugin![]()
