Eventide H3000 MkII?
Audio Modeling SWAM v3?
IK Multimedia British Channel?

In case you don’t remember…

Of those three the only one I have is the Black Channel and I haven't used it since, good lord, 2015? so if the gui changed I didn't notice.. is that the new gui?

It’s the original GUI at release. It didn’t last very long. The best one of all was never released because SSL threatened to sue, so the other one was rushed out for the initial release.

Ahh.. so no I missed the original one, so yeah definitely this would be an improvement.. but.. I never did experience the original.

Anyway back on topic, the SoundToys Developer's screen shot shows the wood panels stay... I, at least am happy about that.

Apparently except for one KVR poster, KVR doesn't seem to realise how duped we have been by SoundToys Decapitator..
lol

Maybe he needs to tell us some more...lol

As for "it's just a matter of time" this thread was started on February 21st 2022 so you'll forgive some for being a bit sceptical.
Totally fair. I'm not sure if this will help your skepticism, but here's a screenshot from my desktop from earlier this year. Truly working on it!

I kind of think that screen shot illustrates why the full-black knobs on a full-black background on plugins like Echoboy needs some updating. You can hardly see the knobs. That Mode knob in the middle-section, bottom, of Echoboy is downright invisible.

Once you get the resizing piece done, it may be a good idea to play with the actual GUI elements, or just keep them and tweak the colors/contrast/gamma of the background images.

You quoted the wrong person but they'll have to be resized much larger than that for my taste but at least it's a start.

"Working on it" is fine but "released" is the end goal. Like I said a lot of plugins have gotten resizable GUIs in the time since this thread was started so obviously it's not rocket science.

In my opinion, they way they handled that in Little Plate and Decapitator is better. The knobs are more distinct from the background there.

Decapitator isn't GREAT, but still much better. Echoboy Jr is an example of how to do it IMO.

Yes, better example.

I don't use the plugins anymore. :(
When I first got them, I already had problems with the tiny font. Now, several years later, my eyesight has unfortunately gotten worse. This is especially bad with "Echoboy," which is actually still my favorite delay plugin.
Although I still really like the sound and features of the plugins, I unfortunately won't be able to use them again until an update with resizable GUIs comes out someday.
I actually wanted to sell the licenses, but I'm still hoping! :)

The new Spaceblender is resizable so that's a start - whether they implement it for the older ones too we will have to see

Yes, I think that's really great and perhaps gives me hope. :)
Inspired by testing this new plugin with a resizable GUI, I started looking to see if there were any updates regarding resizable GUIs for the other Soundtoys plugins.
That's how I ended up here...
