Does it need a permanent connection to the net/sometimes “phoning home” while using it?

It needs internet access when registering and when generating new patterns. But not permanent.

You could try to use a vst host inside your daw and try to run the plugin inside of the host. Something like Element by Kushview for example.

Hi!

That Landr composer is where the Hexachords Orb producer suite now lives. I watched the walkthrough a few weeks back and besides having all the modules under one roof, I couldn’t see or hear anything different from V3 of the producer suite. At least I didn’t find a list of new features/tweaks….

I would imagine most of the ‘press’ for the producer suite would apply.
