Are any of you guys currently experiencing problems with WINE-STAGING / Yabridge? It's got me down lately.
Wine-staging v9.22 fixed the FL Studio graphics bug, but broke most of my Windows Yabridge VST effect GUI's.
Do you guys forsee any fixes for this?

Hi, I also had wine-staging 9.22 issues, so I renamed the .wine folder temporaraily, and installed
wineHQ's wine-stable 9.0. I then restored the name of the .wine folder. So far, it's fine, and I upgraded to SynthMaster 3 from SynthMaster 2, and it's also working fine. I have read that wine-staging 9.21 also works well.
Using AVLinux, nVidia 9400GT pcie video card, maudio pci soundcard, i7 cpu with 8 gig ram, and a lot
of good luck

I confirm everything, there are threads about this breakdown on Linuxmusicians and Cockos (REAPER) Linux subforum; I downgraded to 9.21 staging (tkg) and put wine packages on hold so they cannot be upgraded by apt. And it works again.
It's confirmed 9.22 broke many things badly and reportedly 10-rc1 seems no better...

Hmmm. Okay.
I posted this over at Reaper Forums, but basically...
I'm suddenly getting somewhat better results (yet still too crashy) from installing the 64-bit Windows Reaper on my Linux.
I still have wine-staging 9.22 because both wine and wine-staging are crashy for me but wine-staging 9.22 fixed the FL Studio bug for me.
With WINE running the 64-bit Windows Reaper, it's still crashy, but a little bit more responsive than Yabridge. I'm getting really low MIDI latency. Here's what I set for audio device:

WASAPI turned out okay.

Wine 10-rc2 is out. Anybody boldly willing to try it out?

No experience with Wine 10 here.
My efforts to use the Windows Reaper turned out to not be that great.
I get lower track count under Wine Reaper than native Linux Reaper.
