Like at the start of 'Callas Went Away' by Enigma, or 'Duchess' by Genesis. That kind of quiet, dreamy rhythm (on an old-school beatbox or using those sounds). Just good, solid patterns, preferably in MIDI format.
I have Falcon (Beatbox) and Battery4. Has anyone produced useable, practical drum patterns for the Beatbox style? Slower rhythms are preferred for chilled, ambient noodling. Good use of those lovely Beatbox hats, toms, etc.
These days, everything is overly complicated, bombastic grandstanding. I'd love to find a pared-back, basic pattern library like this to lay some chords and melodies on. I'm personally useless at rhythm programming, which is why I ask.
Looking for quiet, ambient 'beatbox' style drum patterns

sounds like using (and combining) the basic standard patterns on the cr-78 (emu by cherry audio) without going into the further editing options would do everything you want. check it out!
