Ah cool, glad you have got it sorted.
Hope you have a nice weekend too.
Not sure if Discord is your thing or not, but Dawesome has a Discord and I think it's the best place to get quick answers - lots of people willing to help.
Cheers

NKS conversion is here:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/bsv08229 ... 13uhj&dl=0
this has all factory patches saved as NKS with a controller template, NKS2 graphics (backwards compatible with NKS1), tagging and previews. Made collaboratively with Vagus from NI Forum (the folder also contains other Dawesome goodies made NKS)

The Preset Browser is a lot nicer than some of your earlier work.
Hopefully those (like Novum and Kult) will get an updated browser soon (ish).

Great community work, just wanted to say "thank you".

No problem - getting a synth hands-on controllable is always my first priority for my own needs anyway, plus it's a great way to get your head around a synth's design
Anyone who wants my Bitwig remote control mapping it is here along with the other Dawesome plugins I own:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/cuektkd2 ... ufzlt&dl=0
but a bit more limited as for some reason less params are published to the host in Bitwig than in Komplete Kontrol (although simplicity can be an advantage)

I hope so. The fact you can click anywhere outside of the preset browser window to close it is a huge improvement too.zvenx wrote: Sat Oct 04, 2025 2:05 pm The Preset Browser is a lot nicer than some of your earlier work.

I'm having a blast with the synth but there are 2 things I'd love to see...
A filter in the FX section. Just a simple LP/HP like in Myth. The eq/smart EQ don't cut enough.
The ability to sync the random modulator phase to the DAW in clock mode
At the moment when the random modulator is in clock mode it is synced to the host clock but it's in free run mode which means that while it's synced in terms of bpm it's not synced in terms of starting position.
e.g. if you want to have random value to fall on every nth beat/sub eat there's no way of reliably doing that.
A reset button would be great.
Also the path doesn't seem to move when in mono (non poly path) and key trigger mode. (Unless I'm missing something)

Finally getting time to really explore this today and it is wonderfully expressive and musical - really does remind me a lot of Virsyn Poseidon - how I wish that was still a working plugin (it is on iOS but I can't even seem to load all the patches I made from the desktop version)

I've not used it in a little while, but I had the VST working in Bitwig on Windows 11 a while ago. I'll check it again, but that was my experience. I wish Virsyn was actively developing again.aMUSEd wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 12:46 pm Finally getting time to really explore this today and it is wonderfully expressive and musical - really does remind me a lot of Virsyn Poseidon - how I wish that was still a working plugin (it is on iOS but I can't even seem to load all the patches I made from the desktop version)

The CPU hit is a little higher than I expected. Even watching Crazik's preset demo, some of them were hitting a little high and I presume they are using a more capable machine than I am.

Crazik did the preset demo on a laptop from 2015, with win7, without a graphics card.cake builder wrote: Mon Oct 06, 2025 5:54 pm The CPU hit is a little higher than I expected. I'm actually finding it very gentle on my CPU which is surprising given what it's doing. I had one Databroth pad that got up there but most patches are really quite low, even with max voices and me smashing down every key my hands could reach.
First thoughts are that this thing is very impressive. Not as immediate as Abyss but given Kontrasts capabilities, it feels logical and easy to use pretty quickly. I'm not surprised that it can be turned into thin noise really easily but for textures and drones, this is nice. Will need to explore the potential for more musical/tonal sounds.
I agree with the poster above who mentioned the random generator- this needs to have the option to reset each note as opposed to sometimes start mid value. This sounds messy. The note on random options in Serum are my preference. Also wondering if there are more filter options- I haven't gotten deep yet, but looks like it's just a low pass? Would love a bandpass, for my genres BP filters are a must (psy/forest/etc). I may have missed this feature though.
Can you parameter lock? I loaded a custom wavetable and found a really nice part, all bubbly and organic, but started fiddling a bit and completely lost it, never to find it again. I'm not sure, may have missed this too, but even some sort of visual read out (like an XY coordinate) would help me locate these sweet spots again. Or just locking a parameter, also good for preset customising.
Haven't read the manual, but what is the source for the phase modulation and can it be swapped out?
So fun, heaps of potential as a pad and atmosphere synth but also sense it can make nice leads and stabs etc.
