Slooply is a samples/MIDI subscription, similar to Loopcloud and Splice. They currently have 50% off on their own page and 60% off at VST Alarm.
I've heard of Slooply before. I think it's because I googled where to get a certain Synthwave sample pack once and Slooply was one of the search results. But I don't know much about them. A search for Slooply returns zero results on KVR. So, I wonder, are they even comparable to the more famous sample subscriptions that I've mentioned above? Are they good, but just somehow underrated?
$32 dollars for a year of starter plan seems like a good price. Unlike Loopcloud, every sample costs 1 sample credit, so 120 credits really means 120 samples per month. One thing I like is that they also have a lot of MIDI files (which cost 3 credits each) and you can preview them because they're paired with the corresponding wav file.
I know some of the labels that are represented at Slooply, such as 2Deep, and OST Audio, Production Master, which I all like. But still, what makes me skeptical is, why do they seem to be so unknown though they're fairly cheap?
Let me know what you think of them.
