NAMM 2026 News?

Has anyone seen anything in NAMM announcements that seems particularly cool? Most of what I'm seeing is stuff that is either really generic (ooh look, Fender has some new color strats) or kind of dumb (we're selling a special tool to pry your pedals off your pedal boards) or stuff we've heard months ago (DOD Badder Monkey, JHS/EHX Big Muff 2)
So what are the things that have come out recently that could trigger your GAS?

There are rumors of Zebra 3 finally appearing.
After 10 years of stealth mode, obviously. A GUI screenshot leaked, immediately confirmed fake, real, fake again, and legendary..

I'm curious what they might release. I'm halfway thinking that a DGX-680 might be one of their two keyboard announcements at NAM, which could be a fun board for home playing. More so if they upgrade the action, but I don't see that happening.keys_au1 wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 9:15 pm Looks like Yamaha is holding off on it's big ticket announcements until day 2
Across different products, things are ever so slowly inching toward touchscreen hardware daws. I wish someone would make the big leap forward, making everyone else really get things into gear.

Afaik it's going to get a stable release soon, but likely not for NAMM yet.
But Urs also created this ominous post placeholder: viewtopic.php?t=627219

I mean there is the new Kaoss Pad and Korg Berlin's Phase-8 acoustic synth. So, not software, but exciting announcements. Their pricing, however...
Then we got the new Quad Core Mini from Neural DSP. Smaller size, same features as the QC.
There will be new IR loaders from Friedman and Wampler that rely on technology from Synergy that claims to increase realism and sound quality significantly.
Yamaha has updated their Pacifica line with single cuts.

That seems like a pretty bad design to me. It seems like putting the switches so close to the touch screen makes it likely that someone will step on the touch screen. Also with my feet, if I were to step on either of the top two switches, I'd likely trigger the one below.

Kvr should have a dedicated Namm thread like gearspace does every year.

Why are they calling that a synth? It's a sequenced electric kalimba with scope for physical preparations so surely more electro acoustic?
