Hi Attila. Congratulations on releasing RapidComposer 6 .
I have a key pre-purchase question:
Can that large, nearly 1 GB file that has to be downloaded for the Neural Phrase Engine be located on an external drive? I need to save internal HD space, so want to put it on an external 7200 rpm USB 3 hard drive. I was hoping this can be done by a "locate file" setting in RC, or at least by using an alias.

Hi David,
at the moment this is not possible, but I'll implement it for the next update. I have not thought of this, but probably having a path under Settings / Locations would work well.
Thanks,
Attila

Hi.
I'm noticing that only a relatively small subset of my VST3 instruments are showing up in the pick list for a Track.
For example, the Track is offering me these VST3s:
but the list of VST3s that I have scanned is much longer than that.
What do I need to do to make all the scanned VST3s visible to choose for a Track?

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

On the setting page for plugins, at the bottom is a hamburger menu. Open that and check if there is a black list for the plugins, if there is, clear and rescan. Other than that, Atilla should be able to answer this.

You were right Gene that the path to recognition as Instruments runs thru a full rescan. The fact that this had already been done in a prior version seems to be of no help.
Unf. the rescan, or I should say rescans, is a painful process as there are many, many crashes not just blackslisted plugins, but actual RC crashes during the process.

Be sure if you could, report those.. If you could notice what crashed it, that would help.sj1 wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 4:03 pm You were right Gene that the path to recognition as Instruments runs thru a full rescan. The fact that this had already been done in a prior version seems to be of no help.
