Hello!
For the past few months I’ve been working on a new set of workshops about packaging plugins and audio apps for distribution on macOS, Windows, and Linux. They’re finally ready!
For the launch, I’ve put together a discounted bundle that includes all three workshops, saving you $45.
The workshops in this bundle show you how to package your plugins for Windows, macOS, and Linux, step by step. You'll learn how to build installers, handle platform requirements like code signing and notarisation, and avoid common problems.
If you're planning to release your first commercial plugin, this will give you a clear system to follow.
Click here to see all the details and get the bundle.
Thanks

As there is just over one hour remaining for the sale I thought I'd post some of the most common questions/answers here.
Before creating the workshops I sent out a survey to gauge interest and find out what content people wanted. I also got quite a few questions in response to this launch.
Is this only for HISE developers?
No. The process of packaging, signing, and distributing software is largely the same regardless of the framework you use. The examples come from audio plugin development, but the techniques apply to many types of software. In the macOS workshop I also show an example using Kontakt presets.
Do I need to know packaging or code signing already?
No. Most people in the survey said they had never done this before, and others said they had tried but got stuck. The workshops start from the basics and walk through the full process step by step.
What platforms does the bundle cover?
The bundle includes separate workshops for Windows, macOS, and Linux. In the survey, most people said they either needed help with macOS or wanted to support all three platforms.
Do I have to take all three workshops?
No. Each workshop stands on its own. But the bundle is designed for developers who want a complete cross platform distribution workflow.
Is this relevant if I want to sell plugins commercially?
Yes. Many people in the survey said they either already sell plugins or plan to go commercial later. The workshops focus on building installers and signing software in a way that works for real product releases.
Will this help if I’ve already tried packaging and got stuck?
Yes. Several people said they had already spent hours or days trying to figure this out. The workshops show a repeatable workflow so you don’t have to piece the process together from scattered documentation.
Do the workshops cover code signing?
Yes. The Windows workshop covers two signing systems (Azure, and traditional certificates), and the macOS workshop shows how to sign and notarise software properly so it runs on user machines without security warnings. The process for signing AAX plugins is also included (but in less detail due to PACE's NDA).
Is Linux included?
Yes. There’s a full workshop covering Linux packaging and installer creation, which is often overlooked but still important for some users.
The bundle is currently on sale with a $45 discount. The offer ends at Midnight, March 17th (UTC).
If you want to see everything included in the workshops, you can check out the full details here.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
