Still searching....
Morph3 is very buggy for me, crashes in Cubase, GUI blanks out in Cubase 15. I have the latest video drivers. Zynaptiq have accepted that their previous fix obviously doesn't work for all systems, but...silence after that.
Soundthread's freeze morph morphs a very small window of sound to another.
I'm looking at IRCAM's ASAP. As others have said, it was a 200 euro subscription per year. Now it seems you can purchase it for 90+taxes Euro. The catch is that you only get updates for 2 months after purchase. It looks as if their Spectral Morph & Spectral Crossing plugins might be interesting.

Yes, they are very interesting, derived by the great Ircam technology, and they were basically the same also in the Ircam Trax software (also sold by Flux). Another very good alternative is MMorph by Melda Production.ChamomileShark wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 4:49 pm Still searching....

Just checked, its now 90 for the lot but you only get 2 months of updatesFunky40 wrote: Mon Mar 25, 2024 11:17 am Yeah, a DAW is a fundament, and you´d need to have only one.
FX usually means, one out of many.
Pay many times $200........and have a mac who´s OSupdates might break your old installation, and see how much that costs you over some years.
Buying my next mac, when out, they´ll provide me with a new OS automaticly. It´s a horror, haha
Or between 20 and 32.50 for each individual plugin with no access to updates
Prices are excluding tax
Some of these are ARA so non realtime.
But 3 of them are free.
They dont look that special but Ive got stuff that covers most of this
Maybe Soundhack plugins would appeal to those attracted to these

i tryed sound hack, i could not get anything out of it. But that`s with manual interaction vs. live playing. And not vs. DAW + automation lanes. Which can significantly change "what works" and "what not".

The OG query was vs. "What morphing plugins are out there ?".
The answer is simple, at least vs. live play usages:
use GP (Gigperformer) as a host !
i can create there morphs wherever and however i want it do do. Across many plugins, as i wish.
It`s actually what i exactly do *all the time*. Incl. complex morphs vs. the audio routing itself if has to be.
The caveats are:
- it`s ***extremly*** time consuming to work that way.
- you can`t save programmed morphs with the plugins
- you literally do it all the time fresh again
- or you have to develope workarounds, and save some things individually,....which again had me to develope workarounds to make "that" work best
- and that`s then still extremly workloady
- just alone to develope that workflow took me years.
But: i`ve not seen yet anything more suited
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.

I'm actually kind of surprised that iZotope or Waves haven't done their own thing here, given the fact they have a few FFT/frequency shaping kind of tools. Unfiltered Audio too. Although I expect that one would come with a bit of a twist.

Just an update but I'm getting good results, Kore style, using the new plugin MegaMod which has a module for morphing between snapshots of up to 4 plugin states (which can be presets or variations of), and physical modelling plugins like Chromaphone and Plasmonic

Not tried SnappySnap but this does more useful things than just morphing (and costs less)noahrbc wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 12:48 amHow is this any different from SnappySnap?aMUSEd wrote: Thu May 14, 2026 8:49 am Just an update but I'm getting good results, Kore style, using the new plugin MegaMod which has a module for morphing between snapshots of up to 4 plugin states (which can be presets or variations of), and physical modelling plugins like Chromaphone and Plasmonic
