Ouch that website is a nightmare.

The GUIs are rough on the eyes, reminding me of something made with SynthEdit or Flowstone back in 2009.

I take that back: the DeeVoltage GUI isn't too bad. But the other 2 that mem303 listed here are eyesores for me, especially DeeMMax.

I'm sure Dee/Dotec is a fine chap and I mean no disrespect but that website made me feel like I was in a pachinko parlor from hell.

All that said, it could just be that I'm a grumpy old geezer whose eyes aren't what they used to be.

There are a lot of developers listed here that are very popular. They may be new to some people but are very well known and respected.

However, this is still a very good thread that should be read by all.

Eh, to each their own of course, but I think they're kinda fun! There's enough digital-wood analog emulations and grey on slightly greyer on dark grey minimalistic stuff now.
