Thanks for all the kind words.

As for Linux. It may be a thing for the autumn...

I made an extremely unplanned and long video if anyone is interested in the oscillator of the new synth. I have a regular product video that will be released on thursday, but I realized it didn't really show how it is to work with... So if you wanna kill time or just get more bored:

I`d see it so:
- just add a offset position to the modulators on the VCO section for the 2nd voice. Nothing else.
- could probably be even good enough to offset just one or two parameters. Vs. one: phase. Vs. two: the tilt/skew parameter on top of it. Just a feel......i might be wrong.

Just throwing here in some thoughts that have strived me. :)

edit:
I like it sequenzed from a 303 .....as you did in one of the videos. (i use the ABL3)
But when i hand-play it the wish for a (semi-) duophonic mode comes up frequently.
I won't rule it out. I will look into if I find something I find usable after the summer vacation. I have a few other things I wanna try with it anyway. No promises though.

In other news... ...I have yet another oscillator on the drawing board, but I keep telling myself not to start on a new synth for a while as it kind of takes over my entire life during the development process...

All the Best,
Rasmus

I love videos that totally nerd out, and this one gives me a better insight into your creative process. It seems like a completely unique way to use a synth. I can tell that this will be capable of extremely digital sounds, which will be exciting. It looks great, and I'm looking forward to trying it out. :tu:

Thanks. Yeah, the sound palette of it is one of those things that keeps surprising me as it is quite simple in many ways. I think there is an example in the video where I turn up through-zero fm on the oscillator from the mod osc and it changes the sound towards something else (in that case a string sound) - that was kind of a surprise. For mayhem it is quite cool to run the mod osc with sample+hold as wave with keytracking - it creates a very rough and unpleasant noise, that can be used in a small portion to give sounds an extra edge.

Thanks a lot!

I've been meaning to make a new thread about Partials & Discrepancies, so this can go back to being a thread about Curves & Membranes (sorry all for high-jacking it...). Mainly as there are some undocumented features, and I already gotten some good feedback with ideas on further development of it. So it could be good to have a separate subject about it... But it's been totally bananas since the launch yesterday, mainly with the new free plugin (binaural modulator). I hope to get to it this weekend, if anyone else likes to do it before, feel free to do so. ;)
