Rather than dig up the old thread I thought I'd start up a new one.

I thought I was done buying guitars but I want another nylon string in my life. It's going to be a Cordoba. But I can't decide if I want a Stage or a Fusion 12

The Stage

Love the size of the body. Much smaller than my multiac and it has a truss rod. It has a piezo under the bridge with basically a mid/bass sweep for a tone control and one can blend in an under saddle mic for top sounds

The Fusion 12 also has a mic in body but it's paired with three band eq for the piezo. The neck joins the body at the 12th fret giving it a fuller warmer bass sound.

Cordoba is favorite nylons
- they have truss rod, not all common
- lots alternate necks, slimmer western or concert

I went all cheap with a C1, but asprired for C9 or so. Not having frequent need for a nylon.
- I clamp on DPA 4099G mic and all fine

If Taylor come with a Gold Label 717 without electronics it might be one of those. Incredible nice in sound and playability. Now with some LR Baggs, don't get what Taylor is up to these days.
- but paused new guitars, last one Gibson Modern Lite LP a couple of month ago serves well
- paused the Martin D-15M too for now
