In general I like skulls where it seems to fit the rest of the GUI design, for example here, Battery acid (not the best example though):

But in MMultiband Distortion it seems kinda out of place (or out of connection with the rest of the GUI) for me, as in just sticking it over the "standard" (not meant in a bad sense) Melda GUI. Wouldn't be a showstopper for me though, if I'd consider bying it.

It doesn't fit with the rest of your products, none of the others have images and you have gone with a clean look and the skull just throws it out. Nothing againt skulls on the right gui they would look fine.

i have a few skulls around the house. i like skulls because they remind me of mortality and thus inspire me to get off my ass. that could also be why i find them so attractive, but there's no accounting for taste

In fact you could ues the Melda Icon in a similar way.

Im crap with graphics, but use the Melda icon, with warning underneath saying

"Warning-May Distort Alot"

Glad I don't do advertising, or i'd not sell anything
