Has anyone else seen this?

I had to translate the page, but I'm downloading now, and you then have to register on the page above, confirm your email, and then in your account page, you can generate a free Kontakt serial number.
It's supposed to be a Kontakt Player library, completely free.
Just thought I would let ya'll know! Seems to be a very good freebie. Am I missing something?

Some info i found (translated):

haven't tried yet. downloading...
edit: it's time to learn german i guess
DrumMic 'a! is an extremely complex produced, virtual instrument for Native Instruments KONTAKT 5 PLAYER and consists among others of more than 13,000 audio samples and 40,000 lines of program code. 15 Sennheiser and Neumann microphones at an official drum set, housed in a real, professional studio to rework the integrated software studio. And about 1370 authentic style beats, performed by a real live professional drummer. The special thing DrumMic 'a! can be used in almost any digital audio workstation and thus also for your own productions. And best of Sennheiser and Neumann offer the software under a freeware license, ie the use is unlimited after entering a free registration code!

Thanks for posting that. I was using the Chrome automatic translation to get around, and I had no problems.
I'm still downloading, but it seems to be a large drum library, complete with loads of grooves, that is designed to feature the different microphones and their sound. But it's a full-fledged library, and even works in Kontakt Player, which is a surprise for a free library(unless they have a special license deal worked out with NI, perhaps?).
Regardless, I haven't seen a "gotcha" or anything so far. I generated my serial key through my account, and will install when it's done downloading.

That's what I thought. But I've looked and looked, and haven't seen anything.gamecat666 wrote:sounds too good to be true, there must be a catch!!

Maybe the library sucks, who knows. But it was done by reputable companies, so I'm assuming they at LEAST mic'd the set properly. Would be a pretty bad advertisement if they didn't.
So it seems too good to be true, but I don't think it is. Mighty fine freebie regardless.
What confuses me is that it is only on their German pages. I can't find it on their English site.

Thanks. I don't understand German, but it helps to showcase it a bit.whyterabbyt wrote:nice find.

from the look of the screenshots it might be one huge advertising catalogue for their mic's but as long as it sounds good i'll be happy
ive registered and got my code okay, just got to wait for the (slow) download now!

I clicked on the link in my email to confirm, and then on the Sennheiser site, after logging in, I went to my profile and there is a page to generate the code.lofty wrote:gamecat666 wrote:

I made it as far as being emailed <trans> "Thank you for your registration at DrumMic'a. To complete the registration on our portal, please activate your account by clicking on the following link:
http://www.drummica.de#token....
but then I am unable to log in - any hints how to get the code? thank you : )
Is the link in your email not working? Did you make sure to finish the 6 step registration sequence?

however, theres a 'login' option in the bar that will work if you use your login details. then a 'profile' button appears. (iirc)
