Does anyone know what happened to this Additive Synth?
http://www.kvraudio.com/get.php?mode=show&id=397
Site has vanished, webarchive no go.
i have 2 or 3, some don;t run under in savihost..
and they are remarkably able to crash your puter!!
but nice synth regardless...
i believe it is mentioned somewhere earlier in this thread...let me see if i have a link;
errr.....
i have two of them, both "release versions" (rev. c? according to the help file) but neither one will run on my machine.
if you want to try, shoot me a pm and i'll email it to you, it's only about a .25 mb file.

Artvera wrote:Somebody remembers this synth from Stefan Kuhn? I downloaded it in year 2004 and it is not more available at his site but I love it because it has so beautiful GUI (four color variants) and some sweet sounds (unfortunately it came only with 10 presets) - I love especially Silky Bells. If it was not offered here so far and somebody is interested, I can upload it.
pretty please?
that looks cool!
Vera...you totally rock!

When you downloaded it, there is also some info from Stefan's webpage where I downloaded it and also screenshots where you can see some windows which are showed when you click on some buttons and also some demo mp3 from few presets. You can hear that the preset Silky Bells produces really very clear and crystal sound - I love it much !
The button "Global Edit" does the trick to change GUI.
Enjoy it
sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks again!!!!
i'll try my hand at writing a few presets...i don;t really know how to save them tho.
i can save each individual patch with savihost, but i'm not sure how to do a SET of patches.
tthis is too cool...

i can make more if you want, it;s a really nice and tweakable little synth (once i figured out how to kill the echo!!)
will try and make another patch bank and send it to you soon!!
is there a way to make the banks hold MORE presets than the 31 this one had?

Thanks Jimi ! If you will have time for it, yeees, it will be superpinkjimiphoton wrote:glad they work for ya!!

Unfortunately there is not way how to get more presets into one bank. It is limited only to 32 patches/presets (0 to 31). It is always on developer how many of presets he allows to one bank.pinkjimiphoton wrote:will try and make another patch bank and send it to you soon!!

But it is still ok !! I noticed that some VSTi/VST plugins have none possibility to load the bank, only one preset. So thank god (and to Stefan) that we have at least 32 places in bank for presets

i could do this all day long...

now if i had any brains at all, i woulda kept all them REAL synths...
but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....
that's a guitar player for ya...
"you'll give me this brand new fender cybertwin with the footcontroller and every stupid bauble and bead that comes with it for my pristine micromoog??

Don't feel bad Pink - I lost track of a new 68 Fender Tele Bass Maple neck, a 65 Tele rosewood, a Sperrhake 145 harpsichord from Passeau West Germany, a chance to buy a mint 69 tele in 1990 for $1,000 with case and hang tags, and the original Wurly electric piano!pinkjimiphoton wrote:cool, well i guess i better get started on "bank 2"~!!
