The synth is still overpriced but that's another subject.

Rapid is my favorite synth, I would of paid twice and been happy.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I love the synth. I also love that I only had to pay $160 for it. And no, if I had to pay the full price, which I think comes out to about $225 US, no way. I would have definitely passed and I think a lot of people are doing just that based on what I'm hearing. In fact, when I release my library for it, I wouldn't be surprised if it was my worst selling one ever whereas synths like Omni and Falcon are two of my best selling and they both cost a lot more.

I'm not usually wrong about these things as far as business goes. I just don't see this one being a big seller.

Everybody and his uncle allow at least two registrations (Arturia allow five!). Anything else would be a sharp departure from normal practice and would kill my interest immediately.

Well, given the fact that all current Vengeance products are shipped with a single license, my observation makes sense.

The manual speaks of e-licenser, but I thought this was for now at least abandoned, or is it the manual needs to be updated?
Btw necessary on that same page is spelled incorrectly I believe.

Exactly. I was one of those with early bird discount too but I rejected because it's just unfair. That's what most others also thought. So parawave lost some potential customers because the synth is overpriced and only some got a discount.
wow. what a bad service and way to piss off people.

Come on, no real tragedy here, I'm sure there will some kind of discount in the near future.

no tragedy, but as a new dev and vst this is no good way to start + throw out such a vst with such a price + unknwon status where you dont know where this leads atm, i hope the best but these are the points why i didnt jump on it and wait for avenger cause vengeance has a longtime reputation and is not more expensive!
and the dev is very responsive!
only thing i need to wait how the sound is avenger vs rapid!

Well I would love to buy both, but with the lastest 99 Euro Arturia deal and a tempting Legend I guess I'll grab the Avenger and wait for Rapid's further development (and a deal maybe).
