i like maze from livestock for the matrix thing, cant match the functionality of the uhe module, but the actual matrix part works better imo. *shrug, still if i could only have one, it would be cvilization definitely.

I remember reading if not here (u-he sub forum) then on the product page that it’s not the most intuitive module. The color coding/menu diving is very similar to Op-Z so it shouldn’t be so bad. I’ve been watching the videos and I get it, but what I wish that one of them started from scratch on a simple audio ins routing via matrix mixer. There’s a Gaz William video that I tried to make it through but his video kept freezing.pekbro wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 1:16 am i like maze from livestock for the matrix thing, cant match the functionality of the uhe module, but the actual matrix part works better imo. *shrug, still if i could only have one, it would be cvilization definitely.
@Justin, you should check your video for tags. I could not get your video to show up just searching for Cvilization U-he. The only way I could find it was by searching for justin3am and then navigating to the uploaded videos. I’m sure you’re missing out on some deserved traffic. The video is well done and you’re very thorough. Seriously it deserves some more views and there’s not many videos that come up.

I’m scratching plans for MI’s Blade. It’s a lovely filter and aside from it not being available for purchase I don’t want to give up more HP.
I’ve found WMD Overseer (also hard to find in black). Is there anything else that pulls off this classic DJ filter in a similar size that’s worth checking out? This is my front runner so far.
I saw endorphin.es’ Squawk Dirty, but I was not impressed with their own demo video. Lots of artifacts that shouldn’t be there. With its multiple modes in 6hp I was hoping it would work well.

Friendly bump for your question that got pushed back a page. Definitely a night owl here, but we’ve got the same options under a different name. Hopefully someone else can help!WatchTheGuitar wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 1:01 amBump for the night owls. I have a stand and added a second tier a while ago, but feel it’s not going to work well to add anything more to it.
Jaspers, through Thomann to get UK delivery, seems the big supplier, but they’re pretty expensive for what’s mainly aluminium rods and some chunky plastic.
Anyone suggest similar but cheaper brands? DIYs out of the equation unfortunately as I’m useless/dangerous at that.

It's not difficult, but it does require you to think about it. My biggest problem with it, was in wondering why I had to do that. In the end it hardly mattered. I haven't memorized anything about it, but I understand how it works which is more than enough. There is rhyme and reason to it, though it can be difficult to see on some levels.elxsound wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 3:23 am

I have an A-Frame keyboard stand from On-Stage, it's similar to the Jaspers stand but it's not very sturdy. I shortened the horizontal tubes (the biggest keyboard I have is 61-keys), which helped a bit but I now have it inside what used to be a closet, so I was able to bracket it to the walls to keep it from bouncing and swaying.elxsound wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 3:31 amFriendly bump for your question that got pushed back a page. Funnily enough my current stand has an extra On-Stage tier added. As I said, it’s functional, but I wouldn’t want to try and add a third tier, the Jaspers ones seem to be sturdier. Thanks for the reply. I probably will end up saving for a Jaspers for a couple of months, guess there’s a good reason why they’re so prevalent.justin3am wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 5:53 am I have an A-Frame keyboard stand from On-Stage, it's similar to the Jaspers stand but it's not very sturdy. I know several people who have bolted their On-Stage A-frames to a wall to stabilize them, or added some form of additional cross bracing.justin3am wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 5:53 amI have an A-Frame keyboard stand from On-Stage, it's similar to the Jaspers stand but it's not very sturdy. I still have two Ultimate Support KS-22 Black 3 tier A Frames. These are the original 'touring and studio' grade A-Frames. They support (like) 400+ pounds, and even after 30+ years all tubes, fittings, and couplings are still solid. They were pricey, but worth it. Second hand, might be worth checking out. [2c]

Yes, looks like they no longer make anything like that, but I can see some on Reverb. Unfortunately even secondhand with shipping to the UK it’s going to be no cheaper than going for the Jaspers and I think the main appeal there is the flexibility with the extra doodads they sell.Would be so nice to have pretty much all my hardware sit on one stand.Shabdahbriah wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 7:04 am I still have two Ultimate Support KS-22 Black 3 tier A Frames.
