I have the same problems as you, with both the manager and the individual installer for Triad, though my other plugins, including BYOME, have installed OK. From what you are saying it doesn't sound like PA are going to be much help in fixing the problempekbro wrote: Sat Jun 08, 2019 10:20 pm The individual installers now use the same install routines. Think they don’t want to pay for install shield or something.

BYOME is my first and only experience of PA, I can’t say I have been very impressed with the bug fixing and updates, I don’t feel inclined to buy anything else from these guys.

After buying in at the 'introductory' price of $106 , being part of an 'early access' product, and then 8 months later the real product (Triad) is released for an extra $49 (for anyone with an account) is a little galling. I'll be staying away in future too.SLiC wrote: Sun Jun 09, 2019 7:58 am BYOME is my first and only experience of PA, I can’t say I have been very impressed with the bug fixing and updates, I don’t feel inclined to buy anything else from these guys.

49 is not for anyone with an account. 49 is for 'owners' of Byome.zoidkirb wrote: Sun Jun 09, 2019 8:53 amAfter buying in at the 'introductory' price of $106 , being part of an 'early access' product, and then 8 months later the real product (Triad) is released for an extra $49 (for anyone with an account) is a little galling. I think 155 for such a multiFX plugin with full multiband support isn't that bad, to be honest..

I don't have Byome but still I got Triad for $49. I do have a couple of UA plugins, though. While I'm happy I got offered such a nice deal, I can understand the feelings of original buyers of Byome.exmatproton wrote: Sun Jun 09, 2019 10:14 am49 is not for anyone with an account. I got 3 emails; one with a coupon for being a pickpackplan user; 99. One with a coupon for being a heavy hitter; 99. And one because i own Byome; 49. It wasn't possible to use all these, so i used the last one; as a byome owner.

Its really not expensive at all :/ The splitter and interface are very very nice and well thought out.
BYOME has gone on sale for $99 on a number of occasions, and $49 to upgrade to TRIAD is super reasonable IMO.
There is only a few other things on the market even close to BYOME and TRIAD.
System by HOFA is a comprehensive modular multi-effect, but if you want all the effects on offer it ends up being over $200 (it's like 169 euros or something). It's not a half as inspiring or fun to use as BYOME, and doesn't have the patching though it excels in some areas.
Kilohearts Snap-in ecosystem is maybe the closest to BYOME and TRIAD, but you have to pay for each individual snap in, and you have to pay an additional $100 or so for the multi-band version of the snapin host. Even on sale the full thing ends up being close to $300 as far as I have seen. It also doesn't have cross modulation and front patching.
HY-Plugins have a really nice multi-effect that is much cheaper, but doesn't match a lot of the functionality of the others. It has impressive modulation options for the price but nothing close to BYOME.
Also Unfiltered audios fx algorithms and interfaces just rule, and I prefer them over those other options most of the time. I agree it's been a little buggy initially which is a bummer, but It seems like that is just because they moved over to a new architecture from their older plugins.

If you're talking about monthly-loyalty vouchers, that's 'cause PA isn't issuing any this month.

7 months after my purchase I understand the whole deal with plugin alliance pricing. Initially I thought a plug with a $250 price tag would come with at least a few point updates with a handful of extra features, for a couple of years, and eventually a byome 2. Instead we get a slightly buggy release and no updates at all. I didn't pay $250 thank God but PA did leverage that number into making $106 (or $155) seem like an unmissable bargain. Lesson learnt though. I'll keep using Byome, it's very nice but for me didn't quite live up to the hype. The best advice is never buy at introductory prices, but wait for the true price of 70% off a few months after release.exmatproton wrote: Sun Jun 09, 2019 10:14 am49 is not for anyone with an account. BYOME 1.0.2 Public Beta is here.
Windows: https://www.dropbox.com/s/budw0cautioyp ... 0.zip?dl=0
Mac: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yf1oz1r4rx1y3 ... 0.zip?dl=0
64-bit only for now. No AAX builds.
In this build:
-HiDPI now works correctly in Cubase and other HiDPI hosts with OpenGL enabled (previously, it would only work correctly if OpenGL were disabled).
-Input Follower now correctly saves its Sidechain state.
-Looping Random modulator's trigger inputs were not working correctly via modulation.
-Adding an effect will now auto-scroll the effect row to make the new effect fully visible.
-Added Randomization Depth. Right-click the random button to see this.
-Right-clicking the "Add Modulator" or "Add Effects" button will now bring up a menu instead of adding a default.
-AD Modulator now has a cycle mode and tempo sync.
-Fixes for memory leaks and potential crashes.
-Improved legibility of settings and randomization menus.
In the next build:
-Wide mode (extends the interface to show more effects and modulators).
Please note that these are beta builds. If you are using BYOME in a critical situation, we recommend sticking with the latest 1.0.1 stable build.
I'll post Triad 1.0.1 builds tomorrow with the same fixes in place.

Thank you, Michael.
Makes me wonder if I need BYOME when I have TRIAD. Can I assume things like Wide Mode will eventually make their way into TRIAD?
