I’m getting an M5 iPad next week. How long is this sale for? March 2nd?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Fri Feb 06, 2026 7:47 pmIt is an instrument not an effect so it does not require any other app to runFleer wrote: Fri Feb 06, 2026 3:58 pmTwo questions if I may:
- does it run on its own or do we need to use the AmpliTube shell?
- does it include the Leslie Collection or is that available as an add-on?
It has Leslie amps/cabs in it, you don't need Leslie Collection to have the official Leslie gear applied to the Hammond B-3 sounds.

Nice! Yes, this is set to run through March 2nd. Enjoy that new iPad. Even my lowly M1 iPad Pro still does an amazing job in general (though mostly as a setlist / sheet music machine).Fleer wrote: Fri Feb 06, 2026 9:37 pmI’m getting an M5 iPad next week. Sorry for some OT talk but I only realized Apple bought Pixelmator when I was sent the offer to sign up for that Creator Studio. It was always my go-to Photoshop alternative when I didn't have access to a Creative Cloud subscription. Very interesting, I may have to give the trial a spin too.Fleer wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 7:45 pm Thanks. Yeah, my wife still uses hers for ProCreate. I’m planning on getting Apple’s Creator Studio, at least for three free months![]()

Hi everyone,
I’m excited to share a project I’ve been working on: Kick & Snare, a new beat-making application for Android designed for speed and inspiration.
As a producer, I often found that mobile DAWs could be a bit cluttered when you just want to lay down a rhythm quickly. I built Kick & Snare to bridge that gap—offering a clean, intuitive interface that lets you focus on the groove without the technical headache.
Key Features:
Classic step sequencer: A professional 16-step grid for precise rhythmic control, inspired by legendary vintage hardware.
Euclidean engine: Use Björklund’s algorithms to generate complex polyrhythms from world music (African, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban) in seconds.
Pads and effects for live performance
Live sampling: Record audio directly through your microphone and use it instantly in your patterns.
Local import: Import your own .WAV or .MP3 samples from your device to create custom drum kits.
The app is now available on the Google Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ndsnareapp
I’m still actively developing the app and adding new features, so I would deeply appreciate any feedback from this community. What features would you like to see in a mobile beat-making tool?
Thanks for checking it out!
