yes, ok I think a step sequencer could be implemented in a future update, should not be a big problem

The cool thing there is, that you can map one midi cc to multiple controls with different modulation strengths and polarities. It's basically that the midi controls can act macro controls. So incorporating the midi mapping into the mod matrix or having a seperate midi tab in the mod would be really cool...
I see.
If I understand what you mean, ATM you'd have to modulate the different parameters using one of the Macro and then assign a midi cc to this Macro.

...just to be clear - wasn't talking about how it's currently done in Avenger. I was just giving Kontakt as an example, as I think, it offers a very convenient way of managing a large number of controls.

@Manual: if I may add - if you and Rene would consider something like this in the future, maybe a good place to put it would be a midi tab in the browser section (like it is done in Kontakt) to separate this a bit from the mod matrix...

I know, I was just giving the example of what you'd have to do to obtain something like that currently within Avenger.
Sorry, didn't want to make things more complicated.
But sounds like a good Idea, of course.

...I see. :tu: I thought I'd clear this up, as I was a bit confused, what you mean... :)

I thought the developer behind these plugins. Manuel stated long time ago that he self is just the preset designer and the one that builds some concepts but he's not the coding genius :D Written on some plugin systempages the programmers are Rene and Danny from Keilwerth audio.

Would it be possible to run Avenger as an FX unit ?

You could then run other instruments through it and take advantage of mixing them together for a over all balanced sound. . . and of course cool FX.

I think NI instruments do this as well as other companies.

maybe in a future update ? :)

Glad you asked this - was wondering this myself. Serum has a separate FX VST (free for download for all licensed Serum users) that does this - let's one use the Serum FX. And yeah, NI has FX versions of a bunch of their plugins...

Post

If I remember correctly Manuel once said that an "Avenger FX" will render their Vengeance FX suite(s) obsolete, so they will not release such plugin version. It would be an option to sell the FX as an extra. Something like € 199 the synth, € 299 the full package: synth + FX. But then some buyers may feel betrayed... people tend to react very weird (by looking at this thread and Rapid's).

Post

Maybe people who buy Avenger could purchase an Avenger FX at a reduced rate ? :)

I just really like the workflow of the Avenger FX . . . 8)

Post

If they sale the FX as a separate package, many clients and especially non-clients will complain all over the place about Vengeance being greedy as others are delivering FX version for free. If they sale FX for €100, purchasers of FX bundle 1 and FX bundle 2 (total of € 200) will complain about new FX being cheaper. €200 extra for FX is kind of strange. An even more reduced rate for Avenger synth purchasers (discount) hurts business wise and again unfair to the afore mentioned purchasers. No matter how you put it, offering an FX module can get messy. We'll wait and see.

you forget we additionally have 6 brand new ArtsAcoustic analog effects included,
furthermore the ArtsAcoustic Reverb, which alone costs +100€

Post

people i know the more the better. but check all the features included..... and all the effects, vengeance also has to survive and i expected this plugin to be more expensive than nexus2 cause of all the features and possibilities.
at some point i think it is understandable when not all features can be included.

maybe an upgrade price for avenger customers would be in but the same could be asked for all companies, why dont they include all their FX version then of all their plugins :P
