i asked my new girlfriend
so why did you pick me out of a shitload of man
her reply was :

I can`t explain it.

My reply : good thing! it seems like everything that can not be explained is always meant to be.

I make music and i`m not even a musician
But i`m a singer and i never was someone else
it`s just as hard to explain as why my eyes are blue while my dads are brown and my mothers are green.

perhaps a good thing to browse through the pages of the people who cant explain why they are musicians, they are probably the most inspiring.

I am a musician by education, but not by profession. I make music because I feel I have to, and because I love to do it. I am also a writer and I get the same kick out of seeing my name in print as I get hearing my music being played. But the most satisfying part is simply finishing a piece and hearing that it's good. :) That's why I'm a musician.

I wanted to be a tank division from outer space. I was destined to be 7 sisters. I was longing, reaching out. And then I slipped over my vomit and got my head stuck in the toilet bowl. From the sewers, God spoke to me. I signed the non-disclosure agreement. Do, a deer, a female deer.

This thread is entertaining and quite a bit educational as well. If you disregard the usual wankers who cannot make a sensible statement even in jest and fill up the forum with juvenile blabbering, then all of KvR seems to be in music because of some metaphysical need. Some did it originally for girls, but most seems to have given up on this path. None does it for fame or fortune - or even making a living. Are we all hippies?

There was LadyJ, of course, but she didn't quite feel at home, for some reason, and left us... :hihi:

my guess is that those who make it for fame or fortune won't read this thread, and if ever they do, they certainly won't reply.

nor will they understand what they read if they did read the thread...;)
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

LadyJ left?

No wonder I haven't seen that picture of her popping up in any angry posts lately...
