I agree saying it sucks is silly and immature, but Pro Tools is lacking a lot of features I use in the MIDI area and will NEVER be my sequencer of choice until it can do non-real time rendering.

The point of the TDM system isn't that it somehow would sound better. It is that you offload a lot of very CPU intensive tasks on the DSP cards.

Edit: To clarify, as to WHY they are more expensive, Waves probably think that TDM owners has more money.
