But it says everyoneHink wrote:you folks mean this isn't obvious to you? It's not software (software wont be shocking imo) it's hardware and it's going to be like uad and other things or similar to receptor. My only question is will it allow the installation of third party pluggins or will it be strictly IK software?

Well... music is also a kind of 'psychological method' to manipulate people's emotions just like advertising is, so I guess we'd better destroy music too. I'll go wipe my multimedia drive and burn my CDs right now. That'll teach those manipulative bastards a lesson.fanfarecircuit wrote:Let the products sell themselves.

Unlike advertising, the art of music does not need to be a manipulator. Marketing is a science of manipulation, and it employs many tools known to cause an emotional response. Music can be one of the tools marketers employ, but music in and of itself, does not have the singular purpose of promoting a product.blank/diod wrote:Well... music is also a kind of 'psychological method' to manipulate people's emotions just like advertising is
While music does arouse an emotional response in listeners and creators alike, music would more readily be defined as, "a form of communication and expression," not as, "a way to manipulate people."
