Can you say "Logic 64 bit" - no? Neither can Apple, hows it working out with such little RAM for DAW use guys?

Little RAM? My Mac Pro supports up to 32GB of RAM. When I got it a couple years ago I only installed an extra 4GB, which brought it to a total of 5GB. I've never felt like I needed any more. If I ever do feel like I need more I'm sure Logic will be 64 bit compatible by then and will support more than 4GB.

I understand things are different on Windows because you need all that extra RAM for unknown tasks that are running in the background.

So you can taste 64 bit without using it, they didnt think anyone using a Mac would notice they cant use all thier RAM

Regardless, until Apple updates Logic with 64 bit support as they did with Snow Leopard, one can always access more than 4GB outside of Logic by using the EXS24 sampler or Kontakt. Personally I don't see myself needing 64 bit support for a while.

Apple make Logic, if you have a projected date for Logic 64 bit then go ahead and post. Its a fact that 64 bit on the PC for DAW is coming along, vsti are being ported, on the Mac - nothing happening on 64 bit for DAW.

If I wanted to I could be doing the same thing they're doing in this thread, but I just don't care because I consider it a joke.
