just tried this. pretty sick original sounds. a bit too biting factory sounds (except for the MC hip hop kits which are bad ass) but followed with a filter sounds real good. worked fine in ext2.

I've only listened to some of the presets so far, but I have had zero problems in Live 8 other than that the preset volumes are way to loud, i have to turn them all down.
I think the sound is unique. Not quite the typical drumsynth, not quite an acoustic drum. Exactly what I like

At first no noise whatsoever in Renoise 
then I pressed c4 and d#4 and I get the sound, yet on the interface if I click on a pad I get no sound. A little odd
A few more renoise notes, I need to hit the pattern trigger key to get the noise started as the gui play button does not work.
Also, when I set routing up to the pads via tracks I get no sound although the gui pad meter display are triggering graphically.

regarding cpu. is it possible the OS config (XP vs. win7; SP1 vs. SP3) makes a huge difference?

On a side note: The pad assignment starts with C3 - at least that's what it says on the GUI, but to trigger them you have to hit notes from C1 on. That's with the VST version in Cubase 5.1.1 32bit, Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

Jezz...that thing sounds completely different to what i heard so far. Not the typical default sound. Impressing!
So that's great. The idea of selling it for a price the costumer thinks its worth is a nice approach too...
It is still very buggy though an can hardly be used in a production environment atm. (vst and au crashing Ableton)
but the beta is very promising....
will buy that thing definitely when it's stable and bug free.
