I know, I just want to add in the selectable release types, and then I'll post those too. :)

Does this mean an official release is imminent?

Let me know if the octave pitch bend helps out on the MIDI guitar front. Though, I'm not sure if the MIDI channel detection will work in K4, so I might have to customize it for you, we'll see.

Will do. Thanks a lot for keeping it in mind and working on it. I hope others find it useful, too.

Hi Greg, testing now the lead update :) but why up-down stroke keys doesn't sustains and remember the notes after releasing like the repeat last note key?

They just strum the held down notes, so you can hold down a chord and then strum it. Allowing it to trigger notes on its own would require completely rewriting the lead guitar script to make structural changes. Hopefully the feature will prove useful in any case.

I see, hope you find time and inspiration to code it. That feature adds to EEG a lot of playability and more easy MIDI editing! :)

Would it help if the strum keys sustained the notes past releasing the main notes (as long as the strum key is still held)?

One of the other factors working against the scripting is that I'm working in K2 for that backwards compatibility. In K4 it would be a lot simpler to implement.

Don't know about all of you, but I'd pay [a bit] extra for a K4-ized version ...

I think it's great that EEG is backward compatible to Kontakt 2. As a K4 user, I'd like to see a couple K4 exclusive patches if they can bring any cool innovations to EEG. I think Greg's plate is way too full to make multiple versions of EEG but one or two exclusive patches would be welcome. -Perry-

+1 on either. :)

IMHO, if anyone, it's the K2 users who should be paying extra. They should count themselves lucky to be catered for at all! :hihi:
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.
