just downloaded the vintage warmer demo, and it sounds so good on vocals. i need it for sure now. just spent the last 2 hours comparing it to other saturation stuff I have, and it's so much warmer and mellow sounding. makes my mic sound better. damn it. this wasn't supposed to happen.

I just bought Largo from a KVR member recently. Two words come to mind: HOLY HELL!!!!!!
Rob Lee was absolutely right, Largo is right up my alley in personal tastes.

- Modulation options up the yinyang
- EXCELLENT sound quality
- Very easy to learn
- Kickass LFO action (audio rate LFO speeds, LFO rate modulation, etc)...in my opinion, plenty of LFO options are CRITICAl for making sounds that stand apart from the rest of the pack.
- one drawback...this thing can be a CPU glutton, though...will have to be very careful with using layers :(.

Next synth purchases?

-- Waldorf Blofeld
-- Waldorf PPG 3.V
-- Glass Viper
-- OP-X Pro II
-- Absynth upgrade (still running Absynth 2! Been sitting on the shelf for years now)
VST PRESETS ---> http://xenossoundworks.com
Bazille, NI Massive, Z3ta, PPG Wave, TAL-J8, RePro, Diva, Spire and more

Cool! Chances are, if you were able to hold off (for a while) and really wanted it that much, you'll use it and it will be totally worth it :D

exactly. kind of the polar opposite of the no-brainer impulse buy.

i also donated some cash and got daHornet which I have been meaning to check out for ages.

next purchase: a pink bike for my daughter. too bad I can't read up about them on KVR. :D

Once Ive completed the track Im working on (Im slow what can I say?) I think Ill look at a Novation SL49 MKII. ATM the fiance is rather sensitive about new gear coming in. Software, not so bad as it's not as apparent. New Midi-controller keyboard? Insta-trouble.

your in for a long road.
Better leave your midi/outboard gear at home for the wedding bro...they might very well disagree with your union.
