uncomfortable.
i would suggest just muting the red a touch, and
using a bit of transparency on the white to blend
it a bit. add presets, and then go make another one.
(edit:wur, soz, haven't checked recent versions)
I thought we'd all agreed it was going to be called The Cockney Weaselkarrikuh wrote:Ok, I decided on a new name for Charlatan. It will be

I think it fits the personality of the synth quite well. Unless someone convinces me that it's totally inappropriate, the new name will come into effect with the next release. Thread title will be changed accordingly.
black & decker :p it's been used to great effect for more than one gui..Teksonik wrote: I like the orange and gray mock up above.......functional and classy as well
......it looks like a Tool....one you'd use to make something....like Music..........![]()
You can also spell it with a "Z" i.e, "Berzerk", which sounds pretty good i think.karrikuh wrote:Ok, I decided on a new name for Charlatan. It will be

+1. The name Charlatan and the red, clear GUI is fine! I would put all effort in polishing the sound and features of the synth.thecontrolcentre wrote:I think Charlatan is a fine name. It's witty ... I like the red too.

Orange on Gray is one of my favorite color combinations (See BONES' XTRO skin for Orion). It screams "Industrial" and "This is a Tool" to me yet is surprisingly easy on the eyes for long periods and functional as well.........xoxos wrote:black & decker :p it's been used to great effect for more than one gui..
