Cool yeah just trying to get an idea of what plugins are most popular. The 3 you highlighted are pretty much the most popular that aren't on the list. Thanks for the reply!Echoes in the Attic wrote:Ha, strange list there, which I guess is why most are under "Other". Spectrasonics, u-he, Camel Audio. None of which are mentioned...
Great stable products, excellent customer service (except if you want to buy spectrasonics second hand but otherwise good). NI are up there too for me but I'm pretty sour about them dropping Kore as well.
A question from Sound Sonic - what is your favourite plugin brand and why?

That is a sweet setup.. Do you reckon Guitar rig is the BEST amp simulator? with all it's effects and different setups it's hard to see past it eh?darsho wrote:I go through phases regarding Komplete.SoundSonicTeam wrote:Nice, a pretty German electro sound with dark guitars, a killer combo!darsho wrote:Native Instruments.SoundSonicTeam wrote: We'd also love to hear about other brands which float your boat. Using their stuff all the time...
Apart from my DAW and a plugin from others here and there, NI Komplete is pretty much all I need.
not sure if it's our best track, but it's new and gets good reviews and I'm always happy to spam the video link if somebody aks for it .g.SoundSonicTeam wrote:
By the way, also feel free to drop your best track here, it'd be good to hear something new.
What do you find you use most in NI Komplete? I tend to use Prism and Massive alot.. the only problem with Komplete is that its pretty much limitless and its hard to know when to stop!
I remember a time I used Kontakt for anything and then a time I used Reaktor for anything. I also had a hefty Battery pahse, before I got Komplete.
Right now, it's Guitar Rig and the three synths (Massive/Absynth/FM8).
Like you say, it's pretty much limitless .g.

Nebula is a hardware effects sampler.SoundSonicTeam wrote:Wow, it must be pretty good then?xtp wrote:Acustica-Audio Nebula3 has emptied out my entire effects vst folder of everything but PSP Vintage Warmer.
It actually inspired me to investigate moving to using hardware Effects, which I am going to pursue as budget becomes available.
I just realised this is in the instruments forum. I think I read the thread wrong. I was referring to effects; eq, compressors etc.. not vst instruments like synths or samples.

The developer that gets me the most excited when I find out they have a new plugin on the horizon is Audio Damage. Can you see my excitement in the photo?
