It will be re-released in Q1 2013, or so with few bugfixes, addons and Mac-version. mclovestrina, please check PM.

Great news, Dimitry! Thank you so much for this plugin, I absolutely love it. It's so deep yet so accessible, I was going to ask you if there was a follow-up planned (maybe included in Diversion). I can't wait to hear what the add-ons are.
I believe the November 2012 issue was the last one that included the old CMstudio plugins for download (don't take my word though). I bought it as a single issue on Zinio for $5 or so and now have access to the CMstudio suite in the CM-vault.

As of CM185, we relaunched the CM Studio as CM Plugins, now featuring only cross-platform plugins.mclovestrina wrote:I got my December copy of CM but no DiversionFXmay I now know whats the most recent issue it was last featured so I get that one instead?
CM184 (November 2012) is the last issue of CM with the old CM Studio, including PC- and Mac-only plugins.

I thought the streamlining of the plugs in this issue was a great idea. Very inclusive for all platform users.Lee CM wrote:As of CM185, we relaunched the CM Studio as CM Plugins, now featuring only cross-platform plugins.mclovestrina wrote:I got my December copy of CM but no DiversionFXmay I now know whats the most recent issue it was last featured so I get that one instead?

However, other than the new RG plug, I couldn't find any written indication of which plugs are x64 and which are x32 only. Are they all up to x64? If not, it would be very much appreciated to have this information handy BEFORE going through the trouble and disappointment of installation only to find out that it is not.
Cheers

Good question - this info is in the CM Plugins FAQ in the mag, as of CM186.BERFAB wrote:However, other than the new RG plug, I couldn't find any written indication of which plugs are x64 and which are x32 only. These plugins have a 64-bit version for PC: DDMF CM EQ Pack, eaReckon CM-EQUA 87, Expert Sleepers XFadeLooper CM, Rob Papen RG-Muted CM, Sonimus Satson CM, SynthMaster CM.
The following have a 64-bit version on Mac: eaReckon CM-EQUA 87, Rob Papen RG-Muted CM, Sonimus Satson CM, SynthMaster CM.
All plugins are VST/AU for PC/Mac.

I tried this out yesterday, great stuff. Now of course, due to the quality of the included filters, it tickles me to use this as a filter for synths with a not so good filter. I just wonder: Is there any way to trigger the envelopes (you can assign these via the matrix to control the filter cutoff) by midi input? So that it acts like a regular synth's filter, including the cutoff being controlled by the envelope. I don't know if that makes sense, and it doesn't seem like the intended use in DiversionFX anyway, but maybe there is a way?
Filters sound great really.

I dug up some older copies of CM, but I cannot find the plug on each DVD I went through. Is it yet re-released? Could you point me to one issue of CM where I could find that? I'm looking for a nice free gate plug, and your VST would come in handy I guess...sches wrote:It will be re-released in Q1 2013, or so with few bugfixes, addons and Mac-version. mclovestrina, please check PM.

Deleted wrong info.BDeep wrote:Oh they didn't include this in their "Vault" thingy?
Edit: Checked my CM177DVD, and Diversion FX is also on that, then I didn't buy a issue until 182, but Diversion is still on that. So there should many options for anybody wanting to get it secondhand.
I guess it was discontinued when CM launched the new CM Studio, as the plugs then needed to work both for PC and Mac.
A big shame as DiversionFX is probably one of the best CM plugs of recent years.
It's basically the FX part of Diversion, perfect as a multi effect or mangler.
