FTFY.

EDIT
Just to clear things up for my clouded fanboy mind:
What damage exactly did you take from TeamDNR and MixControl (Pro) so far?

Must be kinda sad being you. Best hope that the people you have to rely on if something f**ks up in your life are nothing like you.

when folk used analog mixers, they had volume controls, eq, panning and maybe some dynamics on each input channel. channel strips are single plugins which provide that same set of functions. sometimes easier/more useful than using multiple plugins to do the same set of jobs.

To TeamDNR, I bought your sample sound developer bundle, and was extremely satisfied. I was missing the kickdrum pack which took 1 email and a day to put right. I was considering buying Mixcontrol Pro for full when you gave me it on offer for $49. You had also dropped copy protection so its the easiest paid software I have to install and use. I was sad when I heard the first thread, but now Im here this morning and I have a free upgrade for Mixcontrol pro 2. I have had no problems with your company whatsoever and all those whining probably dont own any and just looking to add insult to injury, which has now turned into a great day for all the owners of Mixcontrol. Great stuff, and about the software, I am really impressed with the sound of the channel strip besides the fact it is very ultra flexible. The dynamics and gate are superb and it holds its own against any other out there. I heard the man that coded the EQ was the one who did the timeworks EQ and thus the quality. I compared it with SSL Xeq which I consider to be one of the best EQ's Ive heard as the people who coded the splitcomp did the DSP for it. I actually prefer yours now and the fact of no dongles and copy protection crap really does it justice. The only teeny tiny niggle I have is the spectrum analyzer would benefit (me anyway) from being faster, since I use it for drums, its my go to channel strip for clean transparent drum hits. Also the gate is mint for things like gentle expansion ant with the saturation and Mid/side processing, well I think you get the picture. THANK YOU!!.

Thanks for clearing things up about Michael. It's too bad all that work has to go to waste. I don't have any Spin Audio products, but didn't that guy go to work for 2caudio? I feel like I'm in a similar situation with Eiosis/Eliosound and former Arturia marketing manager/would-be French pop star Fabrice Paumier (Gabriel). Having gone to work for Slate, it seems he has all but abandoned his company. Then there's BIAS and the sudden demise of Peak, or less extreme that the Abbey Road Brilliance Pack, which was developed by Softube, needs to be updated for Logic under Lion, yet it seems AR have not asked Softube to do that. Will a non-MAX/MSP version of angeltone ever surface from tritone didgital or will Focusrite re-contract Dave Gamble to update the Forte Suite? Those are a few that effect me directly. Good luck to the Team DNR Collaborative, and to me (and you).

Trying to do a better thing than the big companies, trying to maintain a dialogue with their customers, trying to be real people instead of a faceless company...
I was about to say the same thing so I'll just +1 this comment.

Reason's been around this and other forums for a longtime, one of the genuinely most helpful people I've encountered online. This makes a difference. I stand by my earlier post, I do believe MCPs image from a marketing perspective is compromised due to the past erratic nature of it's pricing (like a plugin offered as a no-brainer, will always be remembered as having been available at that price). Doesn't mean the company (one guy) deserves personal attacks when explaining why things are the way they are.

Don't get dragged into arguments on forums mate; It's difficult, but as someone in the biz, who gets a lot of respect, you got a lot of people that will stick up for you anyway... Any type of negative participation will only attract critics... You're better than that.

Did you know that Garritan's Authorised Steinway has been secretly discontinued?
Without any notice! Although the representatives later joined the discussion to confirm it (and to promise that there will be an update released soon - thanks for that.)
Where did you read this!?
