No worries, that's not gonna happen.JimmiG wrote:Personally I'm quite happy that Diva and Zebra are two separate products. Their sound and workflow are very different, which is good. The big Mega-modules suits the Diva concept better. It makes me feel like I really am taking the oscillators of a Minimoog and sending them through Jupiter 8 filter. Breaking Diva up into too many small, non-descript modules would kind of ruin that feeling.
Some people here are on the right track. We're neither releasing Zebra3 anytime soon nor merging Diva into Zebra. Diva remains Diva and Zebra3 is months away. That said, one must not expect too much from Divas filters inside Zebra - while it's as cool and CPU munching as one would think, it just doesn't play an as important role here. It's a nice detail, no more no less. Doesn't make Diva irrelevant, nor Zebra itself.

Whatever it is, we'll be awestruck, I'm positive. It's Urs we're talking about here, after all

The clue here is what does AM stand for? The code fragment clearly states . . .
66
67 If Hans Zimmer Zebra version then
68 - Include the AM globals library file
69 - include the AM High Pass Filter library file
70 - include the AM Low Pass Filter library file
71 end if
72
I'd love to know what's in the preceding 65 lines of code.
So what does the AM stand for? I have not read every page of this, so if someone guessed the AM then I am late to the party and lazy for not reading all of it.
Also, the title states "Zebra Rising". Rising from what? Like a Phoenix? Hmmmm.
Is it as simple as a Zebra update with new filters that 'Rise'????
Or could this be some kind of plugin that can load Ace, Diva and Zebra files and play them together (containing the engines and filters of each product)?
Kind of like NI's Kore, but for U-He products?

Amplitude modulation is way too obvious. XD

I did think of that and yes, it just seems too obvious. I was guessing it's a product descriptor.EvilDragon wrote:Amplitude modulation is way too obvious. XD

However obvious. I'm still going with the obvious.

AM_ is the prefix of 95% of the files and classes in my Audio Modules framework ... not the most creative or funky name for it but kind of worked well enuff
