This would be the only candy coated plug-in in my collection (since I didn't go for the IK S*L) so for me it would be fine. I wouldn't want all my plug-ins to look like that, but one is ok.

Yes - the IK multi-color strip was too neon and gaudy. These multi-colors are muted and MUCH easier on the eyes. I like the color differentiation of the bands....makes it easier to move quickly. If they were all yellow, I'd be pausing to check freq more often.

Yikes are you being serious ? What do cars have to with plugins ? C'mon man

The point is certainly not moot. I think this GUI has the same faults as you think IK's SSL plugin does. It's too cartoonish....in my opinion of course. But again I do love the chicken head knobs it's just all the candy coated colors that makes it look cartoonish....which is exactly what some people were complaining about with IK's SSL..........Such as :audiovet wrote:sorry but the point is moot, they look nothing alike.
audiovet, you've got to learn the definition of "opinion". You stated yours I stated mine....neither is right neither is wrong......A.M. Gold wrote:This would be the only candy coated plug-in in my collection (since I didn't go for the IK S*L)

+1 for RefinedRough's GUI.
I really like that GUI, though I'd make the 0 point a little bit longer than other positions (I'd like the default center position to be marked, so it makes me think that one half is a positive change and the other half is a negative one, otherwise I think it's a continuos control from min to max, like a filter cutoff... I don't really have a scientific explanation for this, it's just something I feel).
I don't like those GUI's where you choose between a few fixed band selection by rotating a knob, I think a few buttons grants a more direct access so that's one thing I'd really keep from RefinedRough's GUI if a different GUI were to be implemented.
I'd also change the color of those buttons, I think those not selected should be more toward grey, while the current band should be more lighted up.
Anyway I really hope RefinedRough's GUI will be implemented.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Does anybody know how is the real thing supposed to sound? And how close we can get with this emulation? Maag EQ is a completely new territory for me never heard of them before.
