Official NKS support would be good but in the meantime I made NKS templates for these so they can at least be accessed and controlled via NI hardware (just didn't have time to convert all the presets yet)

Hey guys do I understand it right that it's just a serial number copy protection? So no problems for the honest user when upgrading the computer or reinstalling the complete OS?

Yeah. It's a serial number (which also includes your name & email address).
