Question..

Is there any possibility that we will eventually be able to use a modulation oscillator while using the "bend" modes? I know there are already so many possibilities but I can't help but want it lol.

Also, just noticed that I am unable to load wavetable presets that I saved since I got this version. It loads the correct number of waveforms but they are all sine waves. :(

But fyi... I LOVE this update. thank you

Could you email me 1 of those presets? Did you use any custom waveforms?

Overall, I favor the Waldorf soft synths over it, significantly. But that's just me, still an excellent synth, just far from a go to for me, it's just can't rid itself of certain bugs (strangely).
Did you try contacting us and report the issues? If you're on OSX we'd appreciate if you could send us the crash report(s)
I'm on Windows 8.1 and experiencing the same crashes I did on 7, just slightly less frequent. I'm not sure I can send you a crash report on this OS. I know I've tried reporting this a few times to kv331 in the past, and your support was fast and you were quite nice (which is appreciated), but after installing and uninstalling (as recommended) several times I kind of gave up.

If Synthmaster crashed Cubase even half as many times as it does now, I'd use it so much more. As it is, I just accept it for its limitations. It might just be my computer, which is a couple of years old now. I've had similar problems with Air products, just doesn't seem to go away (shrugs).

What's the workflow that's causing crashes? Are there any steps to reproduce or are they just random issues ?

Automation is very hit and miss; mostly it will be fine during the first half of a part, but then when automating later on the same track all of Cubase crashes.

Importing wave files is also sure to cause a crash, especially if there are more than a couple of user waveforms used before hand.

I feel very strange bringing these things up, especially when otherwise Synthmaster is really great...plus, pretty darn cheap. It makes me hesitant, as though I should just be grateful for it being as usable as it already it, keeping in mind the super low price in particular.

However, if these crashes could be averted, it certainly would be a major plus for my music.

By importing wave files do you mean import them as SFZs ? or import single cycles ?

Both.

Do you have any wave files that cause a certain crash ?

and did you try the latest version for wave file import ?

Let me give it a go right now so I can be more specific, be back in a short while. And thanks for the astoundingly great support :tu:

Well, I just want to fix any crashing issues right away because we'll release 2.7.3 next week, along with the filter resonance issue fixed and Bluffmunkey's factory presets added.

Synthmaster was fine with all of its factory waveforms, and when I reloaded and imported one from the "outside" for layer one (one of my own, made in Serum), it was still good. The crash came when I went to layer two and imported another wav (the Rayblaster wav that comes with the Reaktor Hieroglyph wave synth).

Another crash happened when I attempted to use two factory waves for layer one and two, respectively, then attempted to import an outside wav to Mod 1.

It usually happens with outside waves. And this happens more often than not.

I just had another crash when I switched to one of my own, old presets. This is what makes me use Synthmaster very sparingly. It just doesn't hold up.

Please email those problematic waveforms / presets to me. I will figure out the root cause, promise :tu:

I am sure there's an easy fix for those, just have to debug and see.
