They are offering now 99% discount for the same package 18 $.

Has anyone got the AAX version yet?

Post

Don't bother.

Read the previous threads here at KVR.
Dodgy company, eternal spammers, plugins are bug-ridden, no customer support etc.

Post

I've always given Crysonic some slack as I quite liked a couple of their plug-ins. But this time they outdid themselves. I thought I go for the $29 bundle and the money was taken from my PayPal account but I had no communication from Crysonic despite emailing them and asking them what happening. In the end after about 3 weeks I put in a PayPal refund claim. I got the money back. They really have plumbed new depths in terms of customer support and general lack of communication.

This the classic claim they make in their emails :
After Payment you will receive an e-mail to download ALL THE NEW 18 Plugins
In your dreams mate. I received a zero communication from them. They have it together when it comes to spamming but not when it comes to delivering the product.

Well, they are in fact hiring programmers and designers, so some income they must have:

And they are based in South Australia (Adelaide? ), not the worst place to live and work I guess

Well, they are in fact hiring programmers and designers,
That ad is always up there and has been for years.

Kraznet beat me to it.

TBH Numanoid, I'm struggling to see why my post above related to them having money (or not)?

My point was that I, and many others here, have regretted buying plugins from Crysonic - one of them was okay, but the other two I got crashed due to bugs.
Crysonic didn't reply to my question about them, they haven't provided any upgrades and, frankly, you can get more modern, better and more customer friendly plugins from other companies nowadays. Plus they spam like crazy.

But if someone making money (at your and my expense) in Adelaide floats your boat, then be my guest.
Watch out for the snakes though.

I just sent a reply to their latest spam attempt. I suggest others do the same if you've had your similar experiences. Send your emails to all these 4 email addresses:

crysoniclabs@gmail.com
info@crysonic.com
sales@crysonic.com
upgrade@crysonic.com
So now you're selling them $18!! I ordered them at the beginning of January for $29. I received absolutely no communication from you and no plug-ins arrived. I ended up getting a refund through PayPal. Why you are advertising plug-ins that you don't even deliver and constantly lie about the availability of them? You seem perfectly happy to spam everyone's inboxes. You should use that kind of commitment to reply to support enquiries. You really need to do something to sort out your credibility. Your a laughing stock on Gearslutz and KVR. If these plug-ins really exist show me them. Here's a link to the latest thread about you.

Based on news ticker at KVR it seems that Crysonic stopped development of plugs around 2010/11

Was it also around that time they passed the buck, meaning that they from then on just focused on collecting money on their old gear?

Post

Yep, it could be.
I bought the plugins from them around 2010.

Regardless, it's fair to say that nobody buying from Crysonic is going to get much of a good deal nowadays.

At the very least, their (bug-ridden) plug-ins have fallen way behind some of today's plugins.
Then there's the other issues to consider...

Post

Also to me it seems that many of the plugs do the same thing, they are all some kind of EQ/compressor/limiter kind of thing.

No filters, delays, or phasers, means I am not interested, even if it is just $18

Fake. Fake. Fake....

So, basically if i decide to get in on this deal the likelihood of me actually receiving the plug-ins are slim to none?
