Hello all, thanks for reporting all your issues, some of them have already been fixed, I'm working towards releasing a hotfix very soon which should deal with the worst of them. Several are silly regressions which slipped through e.g. FM feedback is not working yet, so I intended to disable the ability to make that connection... except I later messed up the code without noticing.

I'm also aware that a subset of Windows users can't load the plugin at all... this is due to the byzantine requirements for building with support for Windows 7 on Windows 10... It seems my efforts actually managed to make things worse, even for some Windows 10 users.

Bear with me, I'm working on it...

Where is the option for this,I asked someone before but was told there is no sandboxing in reaper :help:

Right-click the plugin in the FX browser, then "Run as -> dedicated process". Or set that in Plugins-VST options in Preferences to apply for all plugins, as mentioned. Not needed in most cases if you know which plugins are rock solid for you.

The wave blending doesn't seem to work at all for me. I've tried assigning envelopes to the oscillator and various arrangements. I've tried the macros manually. Nothing seems to be working on the wave blending. The "fade" isn't available to me either.

Post

Also, when I'm choosing an oscillator wave and I hit the X to close the window it doesn't close. The "stereo detune" is working now though. :) not sure why it wouldn't let me access it before... yes I was in stereo.

AH jeez! I see. There is a little orange button over EACH wave that has to be activated. My fault man. It's working I just was confused. I thought the little Orange was a slider that would fade between waves back and forth. Again, false alarm on my part. blah. I got it working. Waves are blending.

Thing sounds like a softer version of my blofeld. :o

Have not installed it yet, but the concept seems very close to sunvox. That thing is crazy. Everything has an oscilloscope, and this does wonders to understand FM.

Other than the multistage envelopes, mostly all other components are in sunvox. Which is great, as I love sunvox and there's no vst version.

You sneaky lil' devil you! Sounds fabulous! Paid alpha? Hmmm, I did a paid beta once, and the results were... oh wait, it was The Mangle :hihi: Yeah, your work, is certainly solid. Yeah, I'm in!!

EDIT: Just the MakeNoise Sequencer reference, NICE! I love the look of that! Probably, the most elegant looking thing, on the modal market!

That sunvox is astounding in it's power if you have the time to putz around in it. I once made a whole track using it as a DAW. Importing drum loops and everything. This is very similar, but it has this soft roundness to it that is very organic and upfront.

It would be nice if (especially the typed values) all sliders and knobs would return to zero state when double clicked. I'm already getting tired of typing in values.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Also a faster dis-/ connecting of the modules like in Audiomulch should be considered. Seems to be stable here. At least the 45 minutes I played with Tangle.

BTW: May I can ask as an proud owner of Mangle if I can expect further development besides bugfixes in the near future. Maybe an FM OSC?

You can click and drag the edges of the palette to enlarge the modules. The right click "all connections cleared" will probably be functioning soon unless that is meant as an "all notes off" kind of thing.

Seems like a natural progression that at some point in the future all these different aspects will be combines into one beautiful modular. Just my opinion.

Hot damn.
Does it come in effect version as well? I love feeding audio into fm setups. Also I'm hoping that it handles internal feedback well because that's the most fun part of modular for me. If this thing has audio inputs then softube may have just lost a sale on their virtual doepfer modular.

Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

Not your fault, it's not very clear UI, I will try to come up with a better scheme that's more obvious.

There will be an effect version in future. I will also probably add a component for sidechain input of audio.

Important for Windows users who can't get the plugin to load: please install the Visual Studio redistributable from Microsoft. A user has reported that worked (at least for the 64 bit version). I thought I didn't have to bundle that, but it seems I am wrong. I will update the installer when the hotfix is ready.
