Hi everybody!
Although I'm totally unknown for you all, I just want to note that Amazona.de has announced a new version of Tyrell
https://www.amazona.de/freeware-synth-tyrell-n6-v3-03/
It might be interesting for some of you, I thought.
Good luck to all of you for this OSC #91. I've been watching (and of course listening) to this interesting contest for some years and -who knows- I'll be participating one day, maybe...

You're welcome!
BTW: it might be not very polite not to give you at least a little bit of information about me, I think.
Well, my name is Christian, from Germany, and I'm a hobby musician.
Playing keyboards in two rock bands, I'm also interested in making music with my PC. I'm very much looking forward to see what you gifted guys do with Urs' and Amazona's Tyrell.

A quick note about the new TyrellN6 version on Amazona (from 2 days ago), that was part of our update round from last year when we also updated the rest of our product range, but due to a shortage of time, we were never able to test it and push it out of beta state.
We did that now.
So it's an older update, but it contains a few minor bugfixes that people had to live with for a while, e.g. the sustain pedal bug is now gone.

Thanks very much for this invitation!rghvdberg wrote: Join us. Just do it!

I'll be off for holidays for the second half of this month so it wouldn't be very smart to join just right now.
Instead I'll sit in the first row and watch (and of course listen to) what you talented people are going to build out of Tyrell. U-He's Plug-ins usually deliver the most musical results here, as I have learned by time...
And, as someone mentioned, the are well programmed, so they do their job very well.
I'll see what comes around next month and probably will take part.

Ah, that's sweet and smart! Now the competition will get a bit stiffer, too!m_d_p wrote:I sent a message to bjporter about this, but I will also mention it here as well.

I'm having a really good time with Tyrell right now, though it is quite hungry for processing time and a few minor things act strangely such as attack times at certain time intervals of playing and rather curious phenomena like notes occasionally not playing, when hit right on the beginning of measures (in MuLab, I should add!). All these things may very well be related to the exact same thing, which has everything to do with the initialization of notes?! This can create a bunch of troubles with filters, too.
You've achieved a marvelous sound with this one, probably at a rather high cost of processing, but I'm pretty sure this will be an exciting OSC output at the end of the month!

You have to create drums with the synth, it's not too hard.JPQ wrote:Is true i cannot use anything else or drums for example?
