Can any of these DAW’s below allow drag and drop or copy and paste audio and midi file to and from FLS? What other compatibility issues should one be concerned about when using FLS as a VSTi?

Cubase 8.5 soon V9
Studio One 3
Sonar Platinum
Reaper 5
Hollyhock 2 soon V3
Bitwig soon V2
Mulab
Samplitude

Will it help any if FLS is opened in Patcher?
I haven't tried it as a VSTi or if I did I forgot (I'll check later) but I use rewire with FL in Samp Pro X2 and it works great
I prefer to use FLS as a VSTi over rewire.
I hope to find the DAW that is most compatible with FLS. The DAW to allow drag and drop or copy and paste audio and midi files to and from FLS.
I can only speak for Samp Pro X2 but running FL as a VSTi in Samp worked fine and I was able to drag and drop both audio and midi from files and my desktop to FL. I could not drag a midi track from Samp to FL inside of Samp and TBH I never tried dragging an audio track sorry  but it did run fine in Samp as a VSTi :)

Thanks for the reply. I love FLS and want to incorporate it in a DAW as a VSTi.
I really need copy and paste or Drag and Drop from FLS to DAW and from DAW to FLS.
Both audio and midi.

What other functionality might be desirable?

Oh yea, to be able to use hot-keys on both DAW and FLS when in focus.

You're probably better off trying the demos, I know that can be time consuming but you'll get the most accurate answers for your needs :)

I know it's not 12.4, but I need to make this comment.

Fruity parametric eq2 is a JOY to use. Getting away from all the nonsense that people talk about with eq's, it's simply a better GUI than really anything I've used.

The color coding is useful, and I do hear something different with the "HQ" but... the thing that is super super useful is the right hand. It's fantastic to have a simply narrow frequency that you boost up to get that nasty crap you don't want, and then have the slider to bring it down. Other eq's can of course do that, but it's eloquent. Add the little change what type it is and the nice graph, it's terrific.

I'm finding it to be everything I need in an eq lately (when using fl) and I'm kinda a ho with eq's :D

Feature request:

An option to 'unlock' the mixer insert channel effects list - then allow you to rearrange the order of the effects via drag & down - and then 'lock' them again.

It just seems so archaic to go "move up" "move up" "move up".

Additional: drag & drop an effect from one mixer insert channel to another. Though I know this could cause chaos with special routings.

I asked for the same thing and found out it's been in FL since many versions ago. To move effects in the rack, use the scrollwheel on your mouse. To copy an effect with all it's settings intact, right click it, find "Save As", click on save as and drag it to a new mixer track (it will insert at bottom of list)

After a lot of this operations, take a look at your recycle bin... ;)

Cheers...

Well, it still would be ace if you could just drag/drop them around so still a good FR.

It's not possible to loop channels anymore? Like if I have one bar long kickloop and 4 bars long bassloop.. Sequencer plays the longer one but kick can't be looped and I'm forced to make 4 bars long kick loop?
